Should be Civics requirement:
- Put a lot of kids in one corner of the classroom and a few in the other side.
- Ask if everyone's vote should be equal. They will probably say yes.
- Vote for which side of the classroom gets cookies and ice cream.

You thought you’d get that by voting for McCain and Romney?
It was much less voting for McCain and Romney, as it was voting against Obama, and the certain destruction of those principles.
If you think that voting for a candidate that couldn’t possibly garner more than 5% of the vote, you’re not only mistaken, you’re dangerous, because your thinking can only hasten that destruction, and enable a totalitarian philosophy that will require Americans to kill their fellow Americans to survive.

Yes, and the worst thing they could go is modify or completely do away with the EC.

This analogy is awful.

That was never decided. If we in Texas ever vote to leave, we're gone.
If you ever do, I’ll probably become a Texan, but I’ll do it prepared to go to war with the rest of the country, or all that the federal government can bring to bear, because that is exactly what was done to the Confederate states.

Popular Vote/Electoral College argument
Outstanding analogy.
However, do NOT surrender to the filthy whoring leftist prog filth LIE that there is even an "ARGUMENT" over this. There is NOT, unless we allow it to be. This Constitutional Republic MUST be preserved by Electoral College system to protect ALL citizens. Anybody who believes differently is a brainwashed uneducated frickTARD who doesn't deserve to live here.

That was decided in 1865.
In truth, what the Supreme Court decides is unconstitutional can only be enforced if the government enforces the decision. Take Andrew Jackson and the Cherokee Nation. SCOTUS ruled that the Cherokee couldn't be forcibly removed but Jackson ignored them and did it anyway. The resulting event is something in history known as the Trail of Tears.
If it comes down to it and states start seceding again, do you think these beta cucks would stop those states from seceding?

There’s no argument. The Electoral College is central to the intent of the founding - just as is the Senate which is also similarly l criticized (same Senators despite underlying population). The two work together to make sure that all people across the county have a voice and we cannot be ruled by large individual pockets of population.
Anyone thinking otherwise is either stupid or are willing to make a fundamental change to the Constitution so their side can win moar.
Changing this is how we eventually end up with Hunger Games type shite.

Texas v. White is a joke of a decision.
No way a SCOTUS loaded with Lincoln appointees was going say 600k+ had been slaughtered in an illegal war.

If the Democrats won the presidency with the electoral college count and the GOP won the popular vote and the GOP demanded that we switch to popular vote then the Democrats would raise bloody hell that the electoral college is the greatest wisdom of the founders.
Liberals are not interested in principles. They are driven by BAMN.

in a country that considers justice, the rule of law, and the freedom to exercise these rights; why is the voting so corrupt?
the complete criminal activity that takes place in elections will cause the breakdown government.
the constitution is under attack from the left and the Supreme Mob(court) is a complete joke.

Whenever the left loses they want to change the rules to their favor. That is why they have so much election fraud surrounding them. Any means necessary...
If it were a straight popular vote they'll would complain their voters are disenfranchised and should count as 2 votes. It's a mental disorder.

I always use an analogy of the Super Bowl to mock their argument.
"Yes, Team A had the most points but Team B had the most fans present so Team B wins."

I want to take the Maine/Nebraska EC version to the national level. Every state should be like those 2 with the EC delegates.

If you argue against popular vote you are dumb or biased. Maybe both.
There is zero logical reason to still have the electoral college.
There is no correlation to a runs points scored in a baseball series.
Edit: runs not points in baseball my bad

The entire country shouldn’t be run by LA and NY.
You are probably either dumb or biased and didn’t recognize that though.
We are a union of states, each which should have a voice.
Maybe you should make your policies appealing to all states, and not just the two biggest hotbeds of progressivism.
Or, this may be a tougher pill to swallow, you could push for decentralizing the US government and allow the states to control their own futures.
