Every persons vote should count the same not dependent on what state they live in. Majority rules bro. Any attempt to over complicate that is pure politics.

Everyone’s vote does count this way.

You just don’t like it because you progressives can’t control the country from two cities.

How about making your progressive policies more palatable to more states?

Apparently, that is too hard for your politicians though.

Can’t hold a moderate position, can y’all?

I’m not talking about any other policies.
Just one very simple one.

The only reason you are even talking about this one is because Trump beat Hillary and a majority of states reject your other policy positions.

Had Hillary won, you wouldn’t have cared.

That damn Trump just got in the way of your progressivism.

1. I do not support democrats nor have I ever voted for a democrat for president in my life
2. Just making the simple fact clear that a majority votes makes sense, and has nothing to do with other stupid political issues
3. I should not have ventured here from the sports boards. That ones on me and for that I am sorry.

OK

If its "simple fact" as you say name under 50 or ten or heck...just one enduring country that allows simple majority rule in its policies domestic and foreign.

Hey, I know. Let’s have a good ole democratic vote right here in Tigerdroppings, whether we should take Kennerkarl here, have him drawn and quartered, and his guts fed to hogs, or not.

I get the first vote (my idea) and I vote yes. Ain’t democracy grand? Get your votes in!

Well, then I apologize.

Literally the only group pushing for this is the progressives because they control major city centers and oppose state rights.

The worst thing that could happen to this country is a “mob rule” system.

Yep. It would only open the door to tyranny and shite-can the sovereignty of the states. No biggie...

So, again, I ask you: in your “majority rules” proposal, what prevents candidates from running national campaigns pandering exclusively to the four or five most populous states?

Keep in mind that a single vote in California for the Democratic candidate ultimately contributes to 55 electoral votes toward the 270 threshold for victory, whereas a single vote for say Trump in Louisiana, if Louisiana ends up in the Trump column, would contribute to netting Trump only 8 electoral votes toward the 270.

Thus a single vote contributing to the prevailing candidate in a state with more population nets more weight than a single vote in less populated states.
