I frankly don’t see it. I think in normal years he’d get that kind of bunse, but there are actually a glut of QBs right now that we haven’t seen in ages.

I wouldn’t be shocked if someone gets him for what amounts to a 1 year $15 mill deal.

If you disagree with me, please name the team/s you think who would pay Teddy over $20 mill or higher per year

no, hes going to get $30+ mil because thats the base pay for a top 15 starting QB now, which is what he is

Mahommes is probably going to get average of 40 million a year and Dak will probably average mid 30's. Someone is going to pay him 20 million especially if they think he will be their starter.

I could see Tampa Bay giving him 20 mil to start and moving on from Winston.

When you realize that $20M makes him the 15th highest paid QB, and that doesn't include another 8ish QBs still on rookie deals... He'll get at least $20M as it's the new norm for a starting QB not on a rookie deal.

There are a lot of teams that would love to have Teddy.

Scenario 1) Teams that need a starting QB without one on the current roster: Tampa, Carolina & San Diego.

Scenario 2) Teams that may draft a QB, but need a starter at the moment: Miami, San Diego, Cincinnati & Denver.

Scenario 3) Teams that have questions at QB and could bring a QB in to compete as a starter: Chicago, Washington, Cleveland, Indianapolis & Jacksonville.

Scenario 4) Teams with free agent or aging QBs who may be looking to move on to another QB: New England, Pittsburgh, Detroit & Tennessee.

Considering that top flight starting QBs will get $38-40M, $20M is a bargain. I think he will probably get somewhere in the $18-22M range easily. He’s one of the top free agents after Brady & Brees. He’s probably next with Tannehill IMO.

He absolutely will. There’s not really any debate.

He won 5 games with very little chemistry with the first stringers and barely throwing for the first 3 games. His passing was getting better as his rapport was building. I don't think there's any doubt a team will jump on that.

I think your 15mil is the absolute bottom scraping price.

teams with a qb need and salary cap space will pay it, but they probably won't commit more than 2.5 years of guaranteed monies at most.

Tampa
SD
NE(if Brady isn't there next season)

That's 3 just off the top of my head that would be without a QB and not in a complete rebuild and looking to compete.

Carolina as well but I imagine they'll go with Cam over Teddy.

There will need to be a few more QB dominoes to fall if TB is going to get a huge deal. Otherwise I can see him coming back here on another 1 year deal and then reassess the market next offseason

Scenario 1) Teams that need a starting QB without one on the current roster: Tampa, Carolina & San Diego.

This makes sense.

Scenario 2) Teams that may draft a QB, but need a starter at the moment: Miami, San Diego, Cincinnati & Denver.

Teddy will his history is going to want at least a two year deal. Anyone taking a QB will only need a 1 year band aid.

Scenario 3) Teams that have questions at QB and could bring a QB in to compete as a starter: Chicago, Washington, Cleveland, Indianapolis & Jacksonville.

Indy is the only one that makes sense. Each of the others have bought in on a new QB last year and Chicago is riding with Mitch.

Scenario 4) Teams with free agent or aging QBs who may be looking to move on to another QB: New England, Pittsburgh, Detroit & Tennessee.

Tenn will resign their QB they will be afraid not to. Detroit doesn't make sense.

Have you seen the list of qbs that make more than 20 mil per year? Bridge deserves his 20+ mil according to that list.

Yes, he'll get $20+ million a season. While there are a lot of quarterbacks hitting free agency most of them are old and borderline washed up. Teddy isn't even 30 yet.
