Anyway to get out of on campus parking tickets?

Didn’t have money to register my car the last term in college. Got a ticket and just put it on my car every time I parked. Guess the campus police never bothered to look at the date on it. I admit I was afraid they would figure it out right before graduation and would give me a blank piece of paper instead of my degree during the ceremony until I paid my fine. Managed to escape though without even paying for the one ticket I got.

LSU cops have statewide investigation and arrest authority. Whether or not they exercise it is your gamble. Also, getting booted is a pretty effective way to make sure you pay the ticket.

Tell them you're a parent visiting campus. Worked for me in the early 2000s.

I played this game in college. A parking pass was in my mind too expensive, so I would park and just occur fines. It became addicting. I would constantly study parking lots and locations of the campus parking nazis. Each semester the final tally of my parking fines came out to about $15-$20 less than what I would have payed for a pass. Until that one day where I guess they grew tired of my charades and slapped a boot on me, which took around $100 to remove in addition to still having to pay the tickets from that semester.
