I got this one from Harbor Freight.
Harbor Freight Lay Flat How se

Had it for a couple of months and can’t complain so far. Light weight and rolls up easily. Seems to be more durable than PVC hoses, but I guess time will tell.

These shelves are easy to build, pretty cheap, and sturdy.

If you want to build tote storage this is also easy to build and cheap. There’s a calculator that shows you how to build and what lumber to buy to fit your needs.

They weren't Cooper Discoverers, so probably not applicable. They were whatever Coopers came from the Toyota dealership.

I’m on my third set of Coopers for my 2014 Tundra with 186,000. Truck came with KO2s but I had to replace those at 50,000, because the previous owner put in a leveling kit and didn’t get an alignment, so they wore out earlier than expected. First two sets came from NTB which has their own Cooper not called Discoverers. This set is from Sam’s and I’ve been happy. I think I’ve put roughly 60,000 on each set and would get an alignment with each new set. I also rotate every 10,000. I used to do every 5,000, but got lazy so just do them with each oil change.
My daughter is 9 and son will turn 7 tomorrow. They have always woken up before us in the mornings. It was aggravating at first, because they would wake us up. I look at it as a blessing now. In the last year or so they get themselves ready for school and make themselves breakfast. I can sleep in till the very last minute and not have to worry about getting up early to get them going.

My daughter even feeds and lets the dog out so I can sleep in on the days the wife has to leave early for work. She doesn’t realize it or doesn’t want to accept how mature they are, but I don’t have to do anything in the morning for them except take them to school. She always worries that I can’t handle it on the days she leaves before all of us are up. ????
They get to ensure they make a sale by helping you out. There’s potential they can sell your family member an extended warranty. And of course they maybe able to get the financing for your family member. Doesn’t take much effort on their part.

I bought my wife’s cousins truck in this manner. He had to sell his truck to get into a cheaper vehicle and I needed a truck. Process was easy on my part. I showed up, told them our agreed upon price and that I had secured financing through my credit union. They came back and beat the rate, so they gained a new financing account they didn’t have to work for. I bought the extended warranty, which in hindsight was a waste of money or I just got lucky and nothing ever broke. The worst part about the deal was they couldn’t get the cousin’s financing situated, so eventually they finished my paperwork and I walked out the door.
The in home evaluations can be either good or bad. Guess it depends on your health and situation.

As someone else mentioned it does include an evaluation of your socioeconomic status to see if you need any help. So for the elderly living alone, a social services consult could be placed to help with safety in the home, but also things like transportation or assistance with paying for meds and food.

Could be bad, I guess because there is a review of your medications and any diagnosis that has been claimed or filed. The evaluator will either confirm, deny, or defer each diagnosis, medication, or claim.

Then there is a quick physical exam, which may or may not confirm a new diagnosis.

It’s another set of eyes on your health and it depends on who gets sent out to do your evaluation. Also, some people qualify for in home testing of different diseases.

Lastly some instances offer gift cards for your time anywhere from $25-$100.
I wouldn’t do LegalZoom again. After looking into how to register an LLC, it’s pretty easy to do it yourself. Geauxbiz tells you how to do it. LegalZoom is easy, but that’s what you’re paying for. They also hit you with a recurring payment for acting as your registered agent, which you can file any required documents in Geauxbiz yearly and not pay LegalZooms fees.

re: i need a table saw

Posted by akimoto on 7/16/25 at 9:26 pm to
Can’t recommend a specific brand, as I’ve gone from a Ryobi jobsite to a Laguna cabinet saw, but I think you can’t go wrong with any of the jobsite saws that have a rack and pinion fence. Those fences will be more accurate and easier to stay dialed in versus the cheaper clamp fences on jobsite saws.

Second thing I would recommend would be to use an 8ft level clamped up against the fence to help make long cuts of needed and you can actually joint boards this way if you stock doesn’t come jointed and parallel to each other.

Also there are a bunch of videos on YouTube to modify/make infeed and outfeed support which corrects some of the problems with the smaller table size of jobsite saws.

I guess it all really depends on how anal you are about the finished product and how much effort you want to put into making the jobsite saw work almost as well as a cabinet style table saw.

Well I pulled a permit and got it inspected, so …
If the transfer switch is already in, it’s not a hard process afterwards. Power doesn’t even need to be disconnected to hook up the generator.

I had the transfer switch hooked up when we built just like you. Built a pad myself and ordered the generator from Norwall Power on the Internet. Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to run the gas, which hopefully is installed next to each other.

I didn’t hook up the generator to the transfer switch myself because I didn’t want to shock myself, but after watching the guy my wife paid to install it I’m mad I didn’t do it myself. My buddy used to install generators and was supposed to hook it up but we could never get a weekend together and she got tired of waiting.

We paid him $200 for less than an hour of work, since I built the pad, ran the gas, and bought all the materials.

re: Speed queen not draining

I didn’t check a code on our Speed Queen, but as others have said toddler/kids sock stuck in the water pump. Pulled the front panel off, and then the water pump and pulled the sock out. Pretty easy to fix.

Drain as much water out as you can with a shop vac and then put the shop vac next to the water pump hose when you disconnect it. Should cut down on water everywhere.

Two months after the sock incident, my daughter’s shirt got stuck between the drum and the lid, which caused the drum to lock up. Water pump became fused to the motor. Luckily ours was still under warranty and they replaced the motor and the water pump. The technician didn’t want to deal with taking the water pump off, so he just replaced both. Now I have a motor that’ll I’ll keep in the shop for years or decades collecting dust until I find a use for it ??

It’s not a bad process to complete. Luckily I had the electricians put in a transfer switch when I built my house. All I had to do was build a pad and install the generator. There’s a guy on YouTube that walks through the process.

Generator install

You can buy the generator from Online Generator Seller

Total for a 26kw was maybe $6500.

Not too hard to run gas from my meter either. Again YouTube is your friend.

Setup up automatic payments where you take the total balance divided by 21 to come up with what you pay minimum each month to pay it off within the 21 months. Ex. $10,300 balance divided by 21 months = $491/mo.

What’s your thoughts on doing this, but instead of making $491 payments monthly, pay the minimum each month and put the remaining into a HYSA (of course discipline is crucial here and you can’t touch that money) then pay off the entire loan at the end of the term. You end up recouping some of the 5% transfer fee.
Figure out what you want and talk to a couple of builders to get an idea on price. We did a construction loan that converted into a mortgage at closing, but only paid one closing fee. It’s a 2.85% at 15 years with a balloon at the end.

As mentioned before plan for more than quoted, because you can’t ask for more once construction starts. If you come under budget, then you just end up borrowing less. We built during covid so materials ended up costing us $75k more than our loan, but we had a great rate.

Also, build do whatever you want during building. Don’t plan to add things on later, like a shop or a pool. We wanted both, but I didn’t like the idea of paying for both over 15/30 years so I didn’t include them in the original loan. 3 years later, no shop or pool and pool loans are north of 10% as of last year. Ship prices are also much higher.
I’ve bought from them a couple of times. Each time just sign up for the membership and then cancel. The workout shorts and dry fit shirts are what I have purchased.

If I remember correctly, the points come from the monthly membership and not from purchases. It’s been a while since I ordered, but I’m going on 4 years with the shirts and they’re still good.
Pop the front panel off so you can see where it’s coming from. Maybe one of the hoses came loose causing the leak.

Mine wasn’t leaking, but it wouldn’t drain or start a cycle recuse there was a child’s sock stuck in the water pump.

Not an appliance repair person, but pretty handy and watch a bunch of YouTube videos to get things repaired around the house.

Alternatively you could YouTube your washer and see if it’s a common problem.
Pick any ER in New Orleans and you will find them. It's a single tool used in diagnosis. There are other parts of an exam and diagnostic tests that can lead to treatment.

Also, nurses in the hospital DO use them pretty much every shift.

This is false. You don’t need a stethoscope to do the job of a nurse and provide excellent care. It’s just a tool to help in the care. I’ve saved lives without the use of one plenty of times. I’ve also worked with plenty of physicians that don’t use one on a daily basis.

If she just needs a stethoscope to work, classic Littman is good. You can really do the job with any stethoscope.

The money spent on a fancy stethoscope would be better used for nice shoes.
We just got Fiber installed on Tuesday, so don’t know if it’s the fiber or Netflix. Kids are streaming their stuff without any issues.
Waterproofing fabric

Try doing something like this. Seems easier on a bed sheet/tarp, but you can probably figure out how to do it to a chair. I haven’t watched the video recently, but thought it was something I would try to make a large water proof tarp out of a big painters drop cloth.
