No idea. I haven´t been since Spring. I´d have to site surf for a while.

Obviously, the monstrously large soled trainers are still a thing.

in fairness Rancourt >>>>>> Sperry

But just get Rancourt loafers and ditch the boat shoe look. FWIW I have Rancourt boat shoes but they're not particularly versatile.

I personally like Red Wing boots or something similar. They're casual enough and are very comfortable. I strongly dislike wearing running shoes and crap like that when doing anything other than exercising.

Not gonna lie, I audibly chuckled at these for some reason.

I would highly recommend the Cole Haan Stitchlite Wingtip Oxfords. I wear these to work, with sports coats, jeans, chinos, etc.

They had some cool tongue logos, but the classic one is nice.

Johnston Murphy

I won't buy uncomfortable shoes at any price. If you can find something in the Johnston Murphy XC4 line, they are specifically designed for comfort. Casual dress and running/walking shoes as well. J&M XC4's are also under $200 so affordable for a decent quality men's shoe. I have one pair and would buy more but don't care for the look of most. For a cheaper pair you should try Vionics if you haven't already... $100-$150 w/serious ortho-support design.

But, I have this pair of Cole Haan's.. ...Washington Laser Wings or something like that...most comfortable casual dress shoes I've owned. Worth every penny.

My favorite shoe. you can wear them with jeans or with a sport coat, all the way up to a suit.

The cordovan and black saddle oxford. The pair I have are Allen Edmonds that I got nearly 20 years ago.

I would go with a different company now, as AE quality has gone to crap since moving manufacturing to the Dominican Republic.

I didn't know that. It sucks that we are losing quality US name brands. I still have two old pairs of "Crown Windsor" Bostonian shoes...even after 30+ years (I take care of good shoes), still in beautiful shape and hand made quality you might expect from hi-dollar bespokes. I don't know what happened and when but Bostonian seems to be nothing but crap now.

So I bought some chukka desert boots based off of advice from this thread. Might be the most uncomfortable shoe that has ever been on my foot. Sent back to Amazon.
