Fashion is inherently fleeting so maybe style would have been the proper word but I would argue that both EG(also nepenthes and needles) and Junya are still making “in-fashion” garments

You started with style. But switched to fashion.
They make in style garments. They aren’t leading fashion. They have a core identity that around there edges they adapt to what is current.
