Eh, I wouldn’t go with white soles dress shoes, but I have some chukkas with the sneaker sole and the are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned (including sneakers), and they look good.

These or something similar....I’m old and lazy and don’t like tying shoestrings....goes well with chinos or blue jeans IMO...bash away.
