I don’t think I’d land a sane person after 20 hours on a plane.

14 hours to Melbourne. Not as bad as I thought it would be. 8 hours sleeping with a sleep aid.

Longest I have done was Houston to London, which was probably 10 hours.
Any trans-Pacific flight is likely to be far longer than that minus a stop in Hawaii.

Dubai to Dallas.....17 odd hours, had no issues. Travel to India all the time so accustomed to it. It's all movies and food cause I rarely sleep on a plane.

Johannesburg to Atlanta, which according to an old flight confirmation email, clocked in at 16:15.
Second is DFW to NRT (Tokyo) at 13:45.

They have two sets of pilots for that?
No idea what hours of service rules they have but on the railroad you can't turn a wheel after being on duty for 12 hours.
Note that is on duty time. You might wait 2-3 hours for your train to show up.
