My son lives in Australia and we fly Br/no to Ca then to Sydney - I think that flight is 16 hours. We have also flown from Dallas to Sydney and that was about 18 hours - brutal either way. I hate it

31 hours... Houston to Perth. My first time to leave the country. Flew from Houston to Moscow to Singapore to Perth.

The longest for me is 11 hours, however I have done MSY-LHR-BLR a few times now, and that is roughly 10 hours followed by a 1-2 hour layover and another 11 hour flight.

Think how many people will have to shite on that plane.

Not a fun flight ... could barely walk after that flight. Feet were almost too swollen for shoes.

one thanksgiving, I left Kuwait at 400pm on Tuesday with bags checked through to Victoria tx. with layover in London got to Houston at 500pm wed for a commuter flight to final destination. at gate was informed that flight was overbooked and since I was last to checkin I was bumped. informed the attendant that I had checked in 24 hours earlier and my bags were already on the flight. informed the attendant to call her supervisor and security because I was exhausted and would proceed to cause a large demonstration. supervisor under stood and promptly bumped another passenger

DFW to Seoul for me, I think 13 hrs

I would never be able to do that.
I hate being on a car trip that last over 4 or 5 hours with stops.
We drive 11 or so hours from NC to Bama to visit family. I hate the trip.
I just hate being in a vehicle of any kind; cars, planes, everything.

Gotta say those seat areas look comfortable and nice though. Is all seating for long flights like that?
I imagined being on a normal plane doing these long trips.

I would hate it, but if I had headphones and access to the internet, ie Netflix, Prime, YouTube, ESPN, and hell even TD. I could make it work.
I just need for my neighbor to not assume that because we on a 20 hour flight instead of 3 hour flight it's ok to spark conversation. I still don't wanna talk to yo arse.

To me, there’s a world of difference between driving vs flying.
I much, much rather drive than fly, even if it’s a long trip... On a plane , you’re at the mercy of airlines and their schedules, their penny pinching, the weather (moreso than in a car).. and without fail, i’m Always seated next to the guy who’s coughing up a lung, infecting me with whatever he’s got.. plus it’s really hard for me to pee on a plane, with all the movement and the tiny bathroom, etc... And all that isnt even taking into account delays, which happen all the time.
In a car, i leave when i want, stop whenever i want, eat better food usually than on a plane.. can crank the radio up as loud as i want, there’s usually better scenery to look at..,i can keep the temperature as hot or cold as i want to... the only caveat is that i need to have a vehicle with comfortable seats.. my Jeep’s are very comfortable, but i’ve Driven company cars ands rental vehicles that make me sore after only an hour on the road.

London to MSY; a little over 9 hours. I had the first seat in the row, so I had a little more room than others. It wasn’t that bad. Watched movies, ate, walked around and stretched.
I’ve actually had 3 and 5 hour flights which felt longer than that one.
