For those of you who haven't seen it on the news, our NATO "ally" Turkey, ruled by their dictator Erdogan, has invaded northeast Syria in an effort to slaughter the Kurds, our allies who have sacrificed over 11,000 troops in our fight against ISIS over the past five years. Turkey has been covertly supporting ISIS for years, and this invasion will likely give ISIS a chance to regroup. This is easily the biggest story of 2019, but you don't hear much about it due to the distortion of social media. It is such a shame because Turkey used to be a secular country that was the bridge between east and west, now they are just a hotbed for jihadis.

Yeah. Stupid, stupid move by us. The Kurds have been our biggest ally against ISIS and we left them to be slaughtered.

The CIA has been covertly funding and training ISIS Rebels in an effort to enact regime change in Syria for over a decade. FOH with your bullshite.

Turkey and Russia are playing Trump like a fiddle

Turkey uses their NATO status to their advantage. Russia gives them sweetheart deals to entice them out of the alliance. While the US kowtows to them in an effort to keep Turkey

This is a disaster. The Kurds are going to get slaughtered. This could have a major impact on us diplomatically, in the future. Hopefully the con artist who is head of the military will wake up tomorrow and decide to undo his decision.

This is going to be very unpopular here, but I honestly think that years from now people will look back and see Trump getting elected as one of the biggest scams ever, in the US.

Just study the man and his history. He has a pattern in everything he gets involved in. I honestly think he has autistic traits. He does not have long lasting relationships with people. He obsesses over certain things, all of his business deals have started out on a straight path and at some point got derailed.

And right now, he just derailed the Kurds.

I don’t know much about this whole thing? Any good bipartisan links out there, this might be impossible for 2019.

Yeah the more I look into this the more I don't like it. Of course getting out of the middle east is ideal but this isn't even a total withdraw out of Syria. All this is is letting our allies get slaughtered. And it's refreshing to be able to take such a stance with out 100 Trumpkins from PT getting pissy
