For you ranters that are more informed on either side - I cant pay attention to the extremes on both sides but would love to hear some informed feedback to this article on either side of the issue - LINK

I am very skeptical of any report put out by the UN. It's definitely warmer now than it was 20 years ago. I certainly believe greenhouse gasses and removing rainforests play a part, but I don't think anyone truly knows how big of a part they play.

Whether the article is correct or not is irrelevant.

The United States and western Europe aren't the problem, and haven't been for almost half a century. Yet no one wants to address the countries that are actually the problem.

That should tell you all you need to know about the current climate "crisis."

I'll be dead before anything extreme happens and I don't have kids soooooo....frick'em.

If all the little brats now are like this 16 year old tard popping up in the news recently, global warming is my last concern.

I am not informed but I do have degrees in sciences. I am not going to spend a second of my time worrying about my life, my children's lives or my grandchildren lives relative to climate change. Don't pollute the shite out of the planet and work to find sources of energy for the next thousand years and continue to improve crop yield through scientific research. But don't worry about this shite.

Like the last 70 years when they’ve been making doomsday predictions that never come true?

Is the solution to give them more power and money? Are all the rich progressives selling their oceanfront property?

It's a huge problem, and yes, we are the primary cause. Not specifically americans, but people are the cause.

I know it's funny to be dumb and act like the scientists are the devil because fox news said so, but the anti-science culture is unbelievably dumb.

Sure seems arrogant for these people to think they can fight nature and prevent something that has occurred countless times since this planet formed.

They have been predicting doom for the last 30+ years, and nothing has happened. All they do now is push the timeline back. Wrong about the coming disasters in 1995, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2018, just push that out to 2030, 2050 or now 2100.

Earth is in more hot water than ever before, and so are we, an expert United Nations climate panel warned in a grim new report Wednesday. - wrong!

When do they not?

You'd think that since they've been so spectacularly wrong on every prediction since the 1st IPCC report, they might be a little more optimist in retrospect.

While it didn't do as well as it should have at the box office, you should watch the movie Tomorrowland. It gives an interest perspective on the effects of the neverending onslaught of doomsaying, negative news.
