In a league like the SEC you'd be insane to schedule 4 OOC games like Texas,Oklahoma,Notre Dame and Ohio State in the same year.But if you are going to play:

* Utah State
* Georgia Southern
* Steel Magnolias State
* Rice
* Louisiana Tech

you can certainly play Tulane. I miss that game. Of course no home and home,although an occasional game in the Superdome would work.

BTW,there is ZERO reason to not play them in basketball.

Are they going to agree to play all the games at LSU?

Other than them being an RPI anchor.

LSU had a 10 year contract to play them and if I recall everyone complained the whole time so they terminated it short.

I brought my dad to the 2007 game in the Dome. It was his first LSU game. We had a great time. But it was certainly surprising that the Dome was so empty.

I wonder if a 2 for 1 would work if LSU was allotted half the tickets (or 1/3 LSU, 1/3 Tulane, 1/3 general public) for the Dome game. Essentially, 2 home games in Tiger Stadium and 1 neutral site game in the Dome.

I would give Tulane 3 games, 1 at Yulman, 1 in Superdome and 1 in Tiger Stadium.

Texas plays two for ones with rice. We can play two for ones with Tulane with that one being in the Superdome.

As a graduate of both Universities, I personally think it's good for the state when we they play each other. In any sport really. It gets people excited for Louisiana Athletics.

Tulane hasn't been a relevant game for us since they left the SEC in 1966. When I was a kid in the 70s, the game still had a little meaning, but that's long since gone.

Tulane is irrelevant. Now if we want to play them like we play La Tech or any other irrelevant Louisiana school, I'm fine with that. But they don't need to be on our schedule every other year.

A lot of those games are based on contracts the SEC has with other conferences like the Southland conference,

I agree

I feel like the main issue was that we had a home and away schedules were we would basically fill the superdome for them.

If they agree ti come to Tiger Stadium when we play, i would like to remind them that they are in fact not good.

But, we should never LOSE MONEY to play Tulane.

We've offered them the same amount of money as any other mid-major to come into Tiger Stadium and get their $800K arse whipping.

But, they refused. They want home-and-home with no conditions. For them, it's strictly a matter of pride. They'll take the $800K to get an Auburn arse whipping but not LSU.

I’d love to see the Tigers kick the Greenies’
arse occasionally. I have no ill will against them.

Now that Fritz seeming to have them on the upside, I wouldn't mind that rivalry coming back but it would have to be at Tiger Stadium.

no thanks...I don't think we should play Tulane in any sport considering what they do with ticket prices for games against LSU

Does anyone under the age of 50 actually care about playing Tulane?

Because I surely don’t

Tulane should be in the state rotation, with any games being in Baton Rouge.
