AA doesnt let any info leak. You wont know he is interested in a player until the deal is done. The national media, especially Heyman, knows as much as you or I do.

I just don't see a good Trevor Bauer trade for the Indians. It makes absolutely zero sense as well. The Tribe are the hottest team in baseball, packed with talent and youth everywhere. Why would they trade Bauer in the middle of his prime while the Indians are challenging for the division title? Lets say they do, just like the "quotes" from insiders say, its going to have to be with a team that can A...make the Indians better right now...and B...give the Indians prospects. All for Trevor Bauer? I mean he is really good, but i just see anybody giving up that kind of talent for him. I just don't. The Indians have Mercado, Bradley, Bieber, Plesac and Plutko....all rookies starting for the Tribe. Plus the Indians farm system is loaded. The Columbus Clippers are currently 55-33 with the best record in the IL. Klay Thompson's brother Trayce Thompson is a stud and is about to be called up to the Tribe. The Indians future is bright...which is why i just cant see the Indians making this kind of Trade in the middle of all this success.

AAA is not where to look re your farm and depth of prospects. Look at A, high A and especially AA.
Trayce Thompson has been around for years called up and released by multiple orgs. Mostly with the White Sox.

A Bauer trade makes sense because your ownership is cheap as hell and nobody goes to your games. I’m not sure which caused which and don’t care, but Cleveland discussed dealing a high end starter heavily this summer before unloading other salary and that was coming off 3 straight 90+ win seasons and division titles. It’s not hard to see Cleveland trading Bauer if they can sell it as sort of filling other need at the ML level
