Most fans seem to believe he'll opt out and enter free agency to chase that bag. But, let's assume the Pelicans retain his services.

1) How would you view his cohesiveness with Zion specifically?

2) Add Anthony Davis to that equation. Could all three share the court together effectively?

Great guy, wish him the best and hope he gets paid. Don’t see a need or fit for him here unless he stays for a reasonable price and accepts a 6th man role.

Playing Zion at the 3? Not sure that works well. Randle ends up backing up Zion and AD.

He’s much better than that.

But yeah he is the same type of player as Zion with less explosiveness

And zions much better defensively

I'm a fan of randles though and he gave 110% in last season's mess

He'll get paid somewhere and do well

I'd be down to retain him if they get rid of AD

He's sort of a poor man's Zion

Randel has a player option, he will choose if he stays or goes. Pels have zero say in the matter

You seem to be a bit off topic. We're aware that he has a player option... (but the team can choose to sign him to another contract if he opts out you big dummy.) But I have no interest in talking about contracts, just the basketball fit.

Im a Julius fan. I want him to stay but there would be some odd lineups. He could start for almost every team in basketball but somehow woudnt start with us. I wouldnt blame him at all if he opted out.

It was like him and Diallo were in competition to see who could bust their arse the hardest on a losing team.

Agreed if you can get him for 13 or under then yea as 6th man then get a guy like collision or Beverly and cj Miles. BUt better fit would be let him walk and try to get Brogdon or one of the two guards I said and bogdonavic or Danny green

Yo. Julius. We will give you 2/40. But you will play only 15-20 minutes. Cause you know we have this Zion dude. At also he will probably finish most of the games

Deal?

Do you have a cap space to offer him fat contract?
I can see him back if he opts in. Which he wont. He is/should be gone.

He doesn't fill a hole on this team right now.

Until they have shooting, Julius shouldn't be considered. If there's a shitty market and he opts in, he instantly becomes our best expiring contract and there's very little chance he isn't moved.

He is seeking money which he wont get. Unless it is 1/20.

My point was that there is no need for him. And also it is better to spend cap space on Brogdon' offer.

Agreed, that money should be for brogdon and Danny green. That is like a perfect and possible starting 5. Brogdon, Jrue, Danny Green, Zion, AD. You got defense, switchabilty all over, And would have the floor spacing we need

I’m a big fan of Randle and hope he stays. Especially since it takes rookies a while to mature in the NBA. We need to sell him on being the Andre Iguodala of this team. He would be perfect in that role.

But first we need a GM & coach who has that vision.
