Hound beats the mountain but is mortally wounded

Arya grants her buddy mercy and kills him this time

Hounds wins but he is mortally wounded and Arya mercy kills him this time around.

If we have Clegane Bowl, people will bitch its just fan service. If we don't have Clegane Bowl, people will bitch because that's what "should've happened"

If Hound kills the Mountain, that would be "predictable" and people would bitch. If someone else kills the Mountain (god forbid a female character) people would bitch too.

Interesting to see how it plays out.

It'll be Mountain vs Podrick or Hound vs Qyburn. Having Hound vs Mountain is too predictable.

Zombie Mountain should be nearly invincible in a fight. Otherwise what’s the point.

This sums up exactly why the show has taken a terrible turn to the worse the last couple of seasons. It's all about LCD's predicting who is going to die and wishing for cliched mano y mano revenge confrontations, and the producers are feeding into that nonsense.


ASOIAF/GOT was always about breaking traditional tropes and bringing a sense of natural progression to the story, whereas the show has changed that and become a platform of formulaic plotting and fan service.

We're getting the mountain versus arya. It's her show now.
