Two bodies found in apartment near LSU campus

Two bodies were found inside an apartment near the LSU campus Monday afternoon, according to East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services spokesman Mike Chultz.
The bodies were found about 1 p.m. on Highland Road between Aster Street and West Roosevelt Street. Chustz said medical personnel were called to the 3000 block of Highland Road at 12:45 p.m.LINK

Between Aster and W. Roosevelt is a pretty rough neighborhood. This isn’t surprising.

This is about 100 yards before the Wienerschnitzel that I tell tourists not to go past. Guess I need to adjust my perimeter.
ETA: For the directionally challenged. Circled is the complex and anything past (above) the red line is "Enter at your own risk" basically.

Those are the student apartments near northgates, not the ghetto.

Those apartments are used by students rt there. At least they were when I was there.

Yes, it gets ghetto real fast past that chevron and pretty much everywhere else in between those two streets, but the apartment complexes on that block of highland are gated and relatively nice.
