Last time I was in that area I legit saw a guy score Heroin and shoot up in broad daylight while pumping gas.

That must have been a slow arse gas pump.

I am also impressed. Picked up from that place many times back in the day.

That area is absolutely the ghetto. At best, it's the dividing line between campus and one of the worst neighborhoods in the city.

Not even close to being one of the worst neighborhoods in the city.

Those apartments are basically across the street from the band practice field. The area isn't nearly as bad as some of you make it out to be.

The bus bench ad on Highland and Roosevelt really drives this thread home.

My first thought was OD.

How did so many automatically jump to murder?

Because Roosevelt was mentioned?

Two bodies

two feet they come a creepin'
Like a black cat do
And two bodies are layin' naked
A creeper think he got nothin' to lose
So he creeps into this house, yeah
And unlocks the door
And as a man's reaching for his trousers
Shoots him full of thirty-eight holes

Because it sits on the edge of what many think is the "ghetto"

In order of danger, it goes states, presidents,
Then Indians.

I’m in all of them all day every day. During the daylight they aren’t all that bad. But a honkey at night needs to have his head on a swivel.

Probably the "two bodies" part had a little bit more to do with that.

When you head north from LSU, particularly on the residential streets, once you get to a street named after a President, you are at Yellow Alert, at a minimum.

meh, I lived on Grant for 2 years and it wasn't bad at all. 95% students when I lived there (2003-04)

People in those areas aren't worried about you any time of the day. Mind your business and you won't have any issues.
