Little Known Fun Fact:

“Nakamoto” is Japanese for smooth mo-fo.

Those women should be teaching like OweO should be a ballet instructor.

PS: The kid’s lawyer can have the D, just saying. IWHI

This is crucial. I don’t know why, but it is.

What's up with the mom's eyes? Contacts? Never seen such a green shade.

Hate to say it but the mom may find herself in hot water before this is over as well. LA is a One Party Consent State for recordings meaning that at least one of the people being recorded has to know they are being recorded. In this case, I am not sure the son can consent to that. The teachers obviously didn’t know and at least some of the recordings were just between the teacher and aide while the kid wasn’t there. That is straight up illegal. Especially since the recordings weren’t made in public.

There are sure to be infringement issues when it comes to confidentially laws of other students being recorded in class.

Speaking of which, any word on the actual recording device that was used? Sounded like the teachers were talking into a microphone. Nice

All classrooms should have audio and video recording at all times.

It protects the students.
It protects the teachers.

People behave better when held accountable.

Did anybody see last season's Curb Your Enthusiasm? Where Larry is dating that woman who's kid is "on the spectrum", but it turns out he's just an a-hole.

I found all the snowflakes of the OT.

Everyone gets frustrated, even teachers. It appears the child can speak, else they wouldn't expect him to answer their questions.
If this is what passes for 'abuse', then I will just have to live with the fact that I'm insane.

Don't you dare say anything cross to me. Insanity is a disability.

God forbid somebody show a little empathy for a mentally handicapped child. The pussification of America, amirite?

This is the sum of (probably) days of recordings, and all we hear is mild frustration. Much ado about nothing.

The Mom is brilliant to get it on tape. Nice job by her for sure.

How legal is that though? I know that for phone conversations, it is only legal if at least one of the party knows it is being taped. I wonder what the law says in a case like this? Can they legally claim that the student knew about the recording?

I can't say I'd do any better if put in a similar situation. But this place specializes in teaching special needs kids so if homeboy can't handle the heat, he needs to get out of the kitchen.

sorry, but I watched this report twice and I still don't see what warrants a lawyer, a possibly illegal recording (of the teachers), a "special investigative report" by Nak, and all the outrage here.
Yes, the teachers were unprofessional for mocking the kid. But its not like they beat him or anything truly awful. Sorry they were caught being frustrated, but I doubt the kid suffers permanent damage from this. He's fricking autistic- hes got bigger problems than this.

Seems like another mom looking for some fame and money for an alleged "abuse" of her "special needs" kid. I call bullshite till I see/hear something that is really terrible.

Meh, it's pretty clear that this child is extremely difficult compared to the rest of the special needs kids in the class. The teacher vented a little. This is fricking ridiculous.
