The speeding ticket I found in my mailbox from NOLA PD.
Is that how it works over there? The hoods rob you in the Quarter and the police rob you Up-town?
I can run faster than 20 mph.

I got a ticket for 22 in a 20 in a residential neighborhood yesterday from some HOA officer. Was bullshite, but I’m lucky he didn’t make me ride the lightning.

But seriously, that is BS. Why was it in your mailbox? Was it one of those tell you how fast your going on the side of the road? Only thing I can think is that's over 20% over the limit even though it's not many mph's.

I'm assuming you were in a school zone
ETA: In school zones the cameras go off at a lower threshold (anybody going 5mph over the posted speed limit) than if it isn't a school zone (somewhere between 7-9mph over).

Normal trigger is 10 mph over, but its only 6 mph over in a school zone.
If you plan on going back to NOLA and don't pay the ticket you'll end up with a boot on your car.
