In a beautiful display of the sisterhood of all women, Kristen Bell rips Melania Trump

in her opening monologue at last night's SAG Awards.
Proving once again that the women's movement only cares about leftist women. And frankly, I'm not sure they even care about all leftist women.
Keep it up, Lefties. Keep alienating normal Americans. We're looking forward to 2020.

Then came the Melania jab: “I think my first initiative as first lady will be cyberbullying, because I have yet to see any progress made on that problem quite yet.”
In October, Mrs. Trump announced that she'd be fighting to stop bullying in schools. "I think it's important that we choose kindness and compassion," she said during a visit to a Detroit middle school.
The Left immediately pounced on her cause, calling out President Trump for "bullying" his opponents, though Trump himself would surely argue he's merely counter-punching his attackers.
Either way, the joke is tired, over-used, and lazy.
Bell continued to hit the Right during the painfully predictable monologue.
For example, she referred to "The Handmaid's Tale" as a "documentary," which is totally hilarious because that's only been done about 6,000 times.
She also took a swipe at the Tea Party, the movement full of those nasty conservatives who asked for the government to butt out of their lives and cleaned up their own trash at protests. "The cast from 'Get Out' is here, you guys, serving as a walking reminder that if you say 'yes' to the Tea Party, you're immediately on your way to 'The Sunken Place.'"

Melania's "crime" is that she said she would devote her time to trying to stop cyberbullying, but after one year cyberbullying still exists. Therefore Melania must be attacked, belittled, and humiliated.

To be fair...was this part of a "comic" opening?
I mean, I've seen "mean" shots during these things before. There were delivered with an attempt to be funny. Some land and others fall flat.

C'mon guys. I am against criticizing First Ladies or First Children (under 18 years old), but don't you think it is radically weird that Melania chose bullying to be her pet project when her husband is the all-time record holder past and present of vicious bullying from the presidential pulpit. Melania should have picked another pet, because she has ZERO cred on this one.

Attacking her comes off little better than attacking her son. For Melania's sake, I'd like for them to stop.
From a Machiavellian political standpoint though, the longer the Melania attacks continue, the more damage they will inflict to Hollywood and Prog air-heads.
