Could he be refusing to promise changes to his offensive system?

I don't really want the job cause LSU is still paying me millions a year but I need to at least interview so the checks keep rolling in?

"I'm just here to fulfill my buyout agreement, can you leak it to the press?"

He expresses a great want to continue getting paid for not coaching.

Saw this on twitter earlier

One of the issues I've heard with Miles is his unrealistic coordinators and assistants during his job interviews last year with schools likes Purdue and Houston. Don't know who he was selling but maybe he could get those guys at Tennessee.

I think he is just not blowing people away and he had to after how things ended at LSU. Furthermore, he’s not putting his name in the hat for lower tier schools where they could overlook those things.

Lower schools might not want a guy with his profile either. Bob Toledo won the Pac-10 and turned out to be a disaster at Tulane.

Solich might be the ceiling for what the little guys can get from a former big time coach.

maybe he comes across as scattered brain. But my guess it has to do with his age and starting over.

He could be promising change, but other schools aren't buying it IMO. He promised to change while he was our coach and look what happened..

I really think Les doesn't want to work. I see him around Baton Rouge and he looks relaxed; not a care in the world.

He is just not that good of a coach. That is all. He is also old. He is not wowing anyone of his so called plans. So there is your answer.

It was rumored that during his Houston interview, he said that his coordinators would be Lincoln Riley and Dave Aranda.
