I enjoyed the movie.
Glad we got to see how powerful Thor really is. No hammer, no god of thunder stuff yet, and still stood toe to toe with the Hulk. and as my 6 year old shouted out in the theater, "he's cheating!", he would have seemingly defeated the Hulk in their battle.
I'd like to see Thor go all lightning crazy killing many people at once in the next avengers movie, showing the rest of the team how much he's truly in a different league from them.

I can't believe no one else has mentioned it...but did you guys not catch the blatant handjob joke Korg hit Thor with in regards to his hammer?
Yeah I got a good laugh with that one.
"Your hammer pulled you off?"

This is probably my new favorite Marvel movie.

I loved it and immediately wanted to watch it again after it was over. I thought Waititi did a great job and hope he gets more opportunities with Marvel properties. Not sure yet where I would place it among the other MCU films but it's up there for sure. The tone, score, action and characters were top notch. I didn't feel like others on here who thought there were too many jokes inserted near the climax of the film and that they took away from the gravity of the situation but I would have to disagree on that. I wasn't as heavy as it should have been, sure, but there was absolutely some weight to it all and I felt like the characters portrayed that on film.

I want Batfleck's Bearbat to hug the Flash close in this and whispergrowl "good soldier, good soldier." For a chuckle from comic readers and a wtf from everyone else.

I thought the movie was really good. When I first heard it was going to be a comedy instead of a darker film, I was disappointed because of what Ragnarok meant, but since I went in expecting a comedy, it delivered. Not all the jokes worked, but a large majority did. Hemsworth is Thor now as much as Evans and RDJ are Cap and Ironman, respectively.
Off topic: They showed the trailer to The New Mutants. Holy cow, that's going to be a horror film. Kinda risky.

People forget how weird the source material is without even getting to the actual mythology.
The frog thing? Happened.
Snake thing? That too.
It shot for an 80s sci-fi movie with modern sensibilities and it delivered.
I do enjoy the "solo" films have their own interconnections now.
Civil war was the necessary dress rehearsal for Infinity War but Spider-Man and Thor have delivered that it can work on smaller scales.
I did chuckle at the pot shots Thor God Mode took at Wonder woman and the framing of the Asgardian House took at Inhumans.

OMG this movie was AWESOME.
Just got out of it.
At the end when Meek woke up was funny as shite.
I am legit confused as to where the Asgardians end up considering Thanos ship literally came up on them.

One of the best aspects of this movie was the fighting IMO. Loved the Thor vs Hulk arena match. Probably the best fight scenes between two powerhouses in any comic film.

Really enjoyed this movie. The soundtrack and humor made the existing source material (which had to this point been really bland outside of Loki) really entertaining.
One thing that hit me during the movie: Grandmaster and Collector seem like extremely similar characters. I even think at one point when watching the early trailers that I though Grandmaster was the Collector. Not sure if they have plans for either to play a major role in Infinity Wars...

Anyone think that Hela is on Thanos' ship with him?

Thor rightfully won our Superhero Tournament here, and yeah it was good to see why.

Maybe, but seems like it would make more sense to bring her back in Avengers 4 rather than 3

Do you mind if I keep a hold of this quote of your and paste it into your glowing review of Justice League which I'm sure if forthcoming in 2 weeks?
I don't think you have seen me praising any of the trailers. I am going to watch Justice League with an open mind. If it's good, I'll give it a good review. If it's bad, then I will criticize it accordingly. I feel like my only crime on this board in regards to the DCEU was not completely disliking Batman v. Superman. My apologies if I don't fit in with groupthink.
And it's not like I'm a Marvel hater because I definitely gave Spider-Man: Homecoming a glowing review when it was released a few months back.

The Wonder Woman one,
He comes into his power and goes into an arse kicking barrage really showing it 360 as he barrels through the horde instead of the flat 2d WW zip pow bam that Wonder woman kinda whimpered on. It's pretty much the same scene.
Inhumans has their throne stance in all the commercials. To really jab Ike they lined up Korg meek valk Thor hulk and Loki in the same royal family pose, minus the Maximus back turn.
