This is why a lot of us were afraid of Trump.

Attacking net neutrality is not exclusive to Trump.

Any other republican elected president last year would be doing the same thing right now.

It's just on us to put the pressure on the White House to make sure they know they're stepping into a mine field that has broad bipartisan outrage in it and they need to back the frick away from it.

step 1 - allow ISP to spy and sell
step 2 - remove policy that protects customers from selective throttling - allowing the ISPS to effectively block your access to VPN software to protect yourself from isp spying.

you guys got sold a bill of goods.
This. Verizon, Comcast, etc are loving Trump.

Step 3 will allow ISP's to block news sites and stations as they wish ( really part of step 2)

Oh I agree. I guess I meant that he can be just as dangerous as anyone else.

The ironic thing is this will be good for sites like CNN (Iime Warner) and MSNBC but bad for small right wing sites like Free Republic and the like.

Whats worse is I feel that if you sat down with him to do an interview and threw out four softball questions about it, he would have no idea the issues at stake or what his administration is supporting.

You guys are crazy, seriously.

ISps are like any other business , they will provide what their customers want, without a government mandate that they do so.

I tried to tell you people that Trump was going after Big tech, because of their all out war on him. They were able to push Obama into picking winners and losers (like ESPN did to cable).

Trump is headed back to the free market

How is this hurting big tech? You need to get a clue on this.

Trump is just showing that he is nothing if not a corporatist. His campaign promises to the joe lunchbucket guys in the rust belt was just part of the tried-and-true populist "how to get elected" game plan.

Net neutrality's a farce, it's a bunch of damn lobbyists from Google, Yahoo, AT+T, Verizon, etc. fighting over open and free access to the internet regardless of who invested billions to design and build it. If y'all want unrestricted access to the internet you might as well have AT+T take it all back over just like the "Ma Bell" days and have the damn government run it....., is that what you want?

The 18-30 voting demographic will reach record highs in 2020 if they go after net neutrality. Dems will win in a landslide. This does not need to happen.

Excuse my bluntness, but the kindest way I can describe anyone who thought otherwise is absurdly naive.

I kind of try to avoid as much Trump news as I can but I'm sure he's well on his way to parading out the neocon all star team (or some even they think are too questionable) by now instead of "draining the swamp".

Not that the other side really has much more interest in helping working class people.
The disappointing thing is that working class people fall for this garbage.
