Heather would suddenly claim A&M was an incredible team, and that beating the Aggies should guarantee texas a shot at the post season. A full campaign of how teams should be ranked based on how they are playing right now will ensue and that mistakes earlier in the season should hardly be factored.
CFB Belt Path to the Playoff: Cal v Stanford

Cal holds the belt. If they win, SMU needs to beat them next week. Thanks to Pitt, SMU should then make it to the ACC title game, securing the belt into the playoff field. If Stanford wins, its all up to Notre Dame to chop down Cardinal and carry the belt to the post season tournament.
Michigan was the last national champion with the belt. Texas won it early in the 2024 season. Georgia owns Texas, so naturally they rode home with the belt. From there Ole Miss held the belt for a short time until Florida took it into the off season. This year USF walked away from Gainesville with the belt and handed it off to Miami. Louisville then held it and now its with Cal.

We wouldn't have lost to them. We have one of the best OOC wins in the country. Not our fault the SEC schedule we got worked out in our favor.
