Sorry to ruin your morning, but I just saw this and I'm filled with rage for this poor family. I'm spreading the word in hopes justice is swiftly served.
Mom, pregnant teen and 12-year-old found bound and murdered as police hunt multiple suspects
This has got to be the most awful thing I could possibly imagine. And it's so heinous, it must be solved quickly.
Anyone familiar with Life360? How could a "cellphone be activated" on it? What does that mean?

An Alabama woman, her pregnant teenage daughter and her 12-year-old son were found brutally murdered in their home, authorities said.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said deputies responded to a home in Wilmer just after 2:30 a.m., where they discovered the three bodies in separate rooms with their hands tied behind their backs.
The victims were identified as 46-year-old Lisa Gail Fields, who was stabbed; 17-year-old Keziah Arionna Luker, who was shot; and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr., who had his throat cut and was nearly decapitated.
quote:
"It was a brutal scene," Burch said. "If you've got a beef with an adult… there's nothing worth killing over, but to murder two children brutally… I hope and feel comfortable we'll have this animal or animals off the streets soon."
quote:
"The mother was stabbed, the 17-year-old was shot, and the 12-year-old’s throat was cut as was the mom," Burch said. "It tells me that they had a plan coming in to bring zip ties or flex cuffs with them so they had a plan."
The father-to-be, who works offshore, triggered the discovery after he grew concerned when he could not reach Luker after he saw her cell phone activated on Life 360, the sheriff said. Another family member went to check on her and found all three victims in separate rooms with their hands bound behind them.

We have Life360 on our phones. It notifies me when my wife and daughter both leave work or home.
It's the free version so I don't get notified when my son goes anywhere. The free version limit is two people in your circle.

Would assume it’s referring to her phone being on and the Dad seeing that, but getting no response. I would imagine also that if she normally went places at certain times and her phone stayed at home, that was likely a flag as well.
Mine has Life360 and it is quite useful.

The father was offshore. I wonder how he'd have been notified. Is there some kind of panic mode she could have triggered?
I just can't understand this. The fact they were just summarily murdered, hands behind their backs. What kind of animal could do something like this?
How is the Mobile sheriff's office? Are they capable of solving this or are they inept?

My oldest grandsons are 12. I would not relent on trying to figure this out & get my image of trucker hat dude on hats and t-shirts.

Horrible. But this doesnt look like some random act so hopefully the perps are captured quickly.

Jesus. Did the dad to be run afoul of a cartel? That’s about the only people I can think of that would do this shite.

This is my guess. Someone who knew the dad pretty well and the dad was in deep shite.

We looked into something like this for my elderly mother. We found an app that would notify us children if she didn't check into the app every 12 or so hours. It may be a setting like that on the Life 360 app.

This is about their level. That or it's extremely personal.

The detail of the 12 yo seems personal but I'm no detective.

Perfect alibi for the guy offshore. Hit men might be in the cards.

This sounds personal. Will probably end up being someone they knew.

The comment about beef with an adult rings particularly specific

Maybe the dad wanted a new life and hired this out to the cartel. Either way, how tf can someone do this shite.

I’d also be looking into the 17yr old’s baby daddy.

Then not just have the pregnant mother killed? The girl’s whole family was killed.

My wife was lLife360 on my daughter’s phone. When they leave the house, she gets an alert. I wonder if this is what happened. The perps took the phone and the dad got an alert that she left the house when he knew she shouldn’t be leaving and should be in bed.

This was my first thought. Mudshark theory.
