WashPost: The U.S. is losing Europe faster than Americans realize

European maggots dont want to be allies anymore. Oh no!
POTUS de-coupling us from that deadweight is one of the most under appreciated achievements of his presidency. Europeans have collectively underspent trillions of dollars on their defense since the Cold War, and all of that slack was picked up by Uncle Sam. They try to embarrass us in the UN, leak and sabotage our international strategies, and fueled Russia and China's militarization with oil purchases and dependent trade deals. All so that they can serve as a tripwire for us to fight on their behalf if they are attacked, because we all know they wont ever help us (even if they wanted too, they cant. They have no ability to project hard power.)
Good riddance to the Euros. And they need to remember that we swept through Europe once before, and we can do it again. They are in no position to dictate terms or say anything other than "yes sir"
Europe produces very little and is heavily reliant on capital gains from old world and sovereign funds invested in the US markets. They owe us trillions going back to WW1, we should seize their funds as restitution. Lets see how they pay for their social nets then.

One recent survey found that 1/4 or more of respondents in some countries - including France, Germany and Spain - see the US as a rival. Another found that the absolute majority view Trump as an "enemy" of Europe and US foreign policy as "recolonization". Polls also reflect a growing belief that China is a more dependable partner.

A growing number of European countries have refused to authorize base or airspace access for offensive military operations, while Poland reportedly denied a US request to transfer air defense systems. These actions follow Britain's significant but hardly noticed decision last fall to suspend intelligence sharing about suspected drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean

Europe doesn't survive without the US
The US will be just fine without Europe

Like I said before. We learned a valuable lesson. Western Europe is worthless and not worthy of our investment and support.

We're losing our status as lead influence on global affairs, for certain. Whether China picks up that ball remains to be seen. Unlike us, China builds and produces things (other than missiles) so I'd imagine they have an edge.

If that’s their attitude, we should continue to “de-couple.”

Europe is losing Europe faster than anybody realizes.
We don’t want to be allied with what they are now.

Do we not want to back away from the folks flooding their countries with fricking Muslims?

This is the crux of the issue. They cannot even gain control of their own countries much less Europe as a whole with the levels of infiltration each country is experiencing. They are cucking themselves without our help.

The EU is the new USSR.

It's what America will look like if we don't get our shite together. As it is, there doesn't seem to be a slowing of Indian H1Bs. Go to a doctor anywhere in the US. It's likely to be a Pakistani, Indian, or some Middle Easterner. It's not because we don't have young men and women that want to be physicians. It's because our system is greedy as frick and would rather throw away long term stability for short term gains.
The same mental illness that rocked Europe is eating away at the cohesion of the US.

The Euros to get on board with the U.S. - not the other way around. We have supported those slackers since WWII.

If by "lead influence on global affairs" you mean spending all our money to defend Europe so they can enjoy a lavish social welfare system while shitting on the United States at the same time, sure I guess?

The further they drift from western civilization the less incentive we have to defend them. Mass immigration of Muslim populations is a treaty breaking shift that someone in Europe should have thought about but apparently they didn’t.

Europe’s smug attitude is exhausting. For all the support they’ve received over the years, you’d expect a little more perspective and a lot less arrogance.

Europe is the foundation of the WEF movement. Globalism. It's not surprising why Obama was urging England NOT to leave the EU.
It's very surprising that England, while not officially an EU member, decided to participate in the EU's mass Sharia Muslim immigrant importation program. They are assimilating so well.
