Trump shrinks Federal workforce by 10%

An analysis by the Pew Research Center of newly released government data found that the federal workforce fell by 10.3% in 2025 — a net reduction of nearly 238,000 employees — as the Trump administration moved aggressively to trim what it has long described as an oversized and inefficient bureaucracy.
The decline came as more than 348,000 federal employees quit, retired, were laid off, or otherwise left government service last year, an 80.8% increase from 2024.
At the same time, only about 116,900 people were hired — a 55.6% drop from the previous year.
Well it's a start. Now finish off the Dept. of Education.

And I just paid more taxes today than ever. Im paying premium prices for gas and groceries. Homeowners, Auto, and Health insurance are higher than ever. Im getting fleeced for donations every time I open my email.

I'm sorry to inform you that patiently waiting is a fruitless endeavor. It's never going to get better unless we balkanize and divide, and even then it will take a couple generations to fix.

Add another 10% by the end of Trump’s term per AI. That 20 million imported and mostly unemployable immigrants won’t help the coming economic recession. I used to think that Trump could do it again but given the massive immigration, AI and ME oil craziness I’m not as sure. Could tailspin into another Covid like recession.

I remember Bush the 2nd first day in office gave 850,000 pink slips and ofc the media interviewed the employees walking out of their partisan jobs with boxes in hand. When Trump didnt do that his first day in 2017 and said he was going to work with the demorats I knew he was in for a world of hurt. Ofc I had no idea how much crap in had stepped into but man America wake up! Firing them all reduces the Left!
