I hate it that Dodd fcked this up

I had never heard the story of Auburn greasing the tracks when G Tech was coming to play. Slid past the station by 5 miles. Had to walk back.
A classic cfb prank…. And Tech went on to lose the game, possibly from dead legs lol

Should anyone in the top 10 be bragging about that?

Really the only two factors that truly matter for conference expansion are TV viewership and size of market- the right schools (Fsu, Miami, Clemson, ND) will absolutely increase viewership and allow the conferences to ask for more money when TV contracts come due.
The former ACC commish- Swafford, locked the ACC into a long-term contract with Espn, thats why you don’t hear any talk of media deals in the works. That being said the ACC does still make more than the Big12

This isn’t going to end well is it? A Russian head fb coach in the state of Alabama, wtf is the world coming to?
I’m going to get roasted for this but whatever - One has to wonder how many of these ranked wins come from Sec teams just beating down other over-ranked Sec teams at the beginning of the season? The pollsters always seem to stick the a certain number of teams in there that have no realistic reason for being there (Au, FL the past few years as example)

I know you've been led to believe that Alabama isn't ever winning again, and that their recruiting has fallen off a cliff.
No I don’t believe that at all, I just don’t follow Bama recruiting and the Bama poster energy/optimism seems low to nonexistent this preseason

He’s like a broken record and is spamming all known fb boards with his shiite
Did Bama have a strong portal class? Just wondering why they are rated above Ole Miss and LSU? Also LSU seems low, i believe Kiffen will make some waves immediately. It’s likely that one of either Auburn or Florida will have a much better year than projected depending on which hired the right guy.

Is there a school/team/fanbase more hated in the SEC than Tennessee?
I think the bigger NIL story is that BIG teams are buying up a much larger share of the blue chip players than they were getting under the bagman system, kids are willing to go to the frozen northern wastelands for more cash + playing time rather than be stacked 4-5* talent on Bama, Lsu, Uga’ etc 2nd-3rd team rosters

Can I get a list of said players?
Google Miami’s roster from last season?

Did you not see Indiana, who was way worse than Vandy or UVA or UNC, completely flip the script? That is the future.
Indiana’s new success is 99% attributable to wining the lottery when they hired Cignetti.
Clemson and FSU both have excellent TV ratings, better than at least half of either the SEC or BIG, there ain’t no way in hell either are going to the Big12. Future tv conf money will be largely based on who can draw the most eyes
You could call the 1950’s a tie between GT and Tennessee for most dominating

I'd bring over UNC, Duke, Virginia Tech and Clemson.
I just can’t believe how many people keep suggesting adding Duke football to the SEC, have you actually even thought about this?
quote:
Top priorities for the SEC are UNC and Virginia.
What you would be bringing in there are two more Vandy’s
UNC has not won an ACC title since 1982, how do you think they would fare in the SEC?
quote:
I just don't think they fit the SEC...just sounds like UGA has that media market covered. They tend to fit the Big 10 profile a little better, but I'm not sure how the Big 10 would even view them.
We are in the 7th largest (and growing) media market in the US, I believe GT and Miami will be the BIG’s main targets from the ACC
