Is what an excellent shot it was.

One shot through the windshield straight to the dome while being run over by a car. Impressive focus and control

I’m hoping Trump is planning on giving that ICE agent the presidential medal of freedom. Who knows how many lives he saved yesterday.

It’s hard to do because of how the windshield deflects the path of the bullet.

The windshield changes the trajectory.

Great shot.

The first shot through the windshield didn't kill her. She was still driving the car when one of the next two shots through the open window incapacitated her.

I don't agree this was murder---the agent feared for his life---but, this video breaks down the shot sequence well.

The new slow-mo video shows the cop had swiftly moved to the side of the car and the driver had already turned the wheels away from the cop and was attempting to drive away when she was shot.

Except for the fact her wheels were rotating as the agent was in front of her. But let’s dismiss that and go with what you just said.

If only life was in slow-mo. Monday morning quarterbacking off an instant replay is easy.

If only law enforcement can make decisions in slow motion and bend over to check which direction tires are pointed after already being struck by a vehicle being operated by someone who, to put it gently, was already being confrontational and uncooperative.

No argument about her confrontational and uncooperative. But his life was not in danger when he shot her.

It’s a factual statement to say the car was moving away from the cop when he fired his weapon.

Not on the first shot. Not in real time. One may be able to parse a video frame by frame from a different angle and appoint to tires being pointed away - after the officer was struck by the vehicle. The only reason he was slightly off to the side was his movement, not her cooperation.

The minute she put the car in gear and revved that engine she, and she alone, sealed her fate. If she wasn’t there at all, if she was merely protesting but not interfering, if she had obeyed the order to get out of the car, if she didn’t put the car in gear all would have had different outcomes. Those are the true factual statements.

This doesn’t matter. It matters if he could reasonably believe that his life was in danger. Given the totality of the circumstances (slippery road, car in drive pointed at him, etc.) it is understandable why he might believe his life was in danger.

But in his position at that moment how could he have possibly known that? He perceived his life as being in danger and that justifies the shooting.

It’s a difficult job that requires a lot of training to develop situational awareness.

Do we know if this was an experienced LEO?

But the legal argument for believing he was in imminent danger is flimsy if the vehicle was not even moving towards him.

That a white person running from law enforcement and not following commands can be shot too?

Using any physics or mathematical equations or vectors, please explain how the 2014 Honda Pilot struck the officer when it “was not even moving towards him.”

Vehicle === gun when used to try to run someone over

Look how ridiculous this sounds

It's also been said he's been dragged by a dumbass protester's car last year IN MINNEAPOLIS.
