Unless we revert back to a Les offense, there’s not enough carries for a legit three-headed running attack.

Ole Miss runs it about 41 times a game this year.

You don't think 13 carries and piece plus a pass or 2 isn't enough?

No, because both of those RBs get better with more carries. Its the reason you never see a true split on carries with any good teams.

You'll see 2 RBs, but splits are usually 70/30 or 80/20.

Berry needs 20+ carries every game.

QB’s account for about 12 of those 41 rushes per game.

Their running backs are getting about 26 rushes per game on average. So split 3 ways, that’s 8-9 carries per RB. Considering Lacy alone accounts for 21.5 rushes per game this year, I would say no - that’s not enough.

Berry needs to see heavy use in the passing game. This is what gets you drafted.

Would rather have two of them (any two) and get an extra offensive lineman. One that can play.

This is incorrect. People think Lane is pass happy. This is incorrect. Ole Miss is throwing the ball 44% of the time. Lane is run heavy, very run heavy.

I think you get him using jug machines like a madman this offseason.

he isn't jahmyr gibbs, but he sure could become a similar caliber player

This is exactly like when yall were talking about how great our return teams would be this year bc we had Brown, Thomas, Anderson, and Watkins. Only 1 of them can get the ball on a given play and it's doubtful they will even be on the field at the same time. Hell one may even transfer out

I don’t disagree that splitting carries 3 ways isn’t ideal, but there’s a common misconception that Lane runs the air raid. His offense today is built on the run first then play action breaks the defense.

Imagine Chambliss and those backs with some triple option packages.

This would be crazy, but I love the idea.

Lane ran the ball 494 times this season, 41.2 carries per game.

I’d look for Durham to transfer. Just a hunch
