You only get one type of potato for the rest of your life: which would you choose?

1. Roasted potatoes
2. Mashed potatoes
3. French fries
4. Baked potatoes
5. Scalloped potatoes
6. Potato skins
7. Hash browns
8. Potato Salad

- available with any toppings or condiments

I’d go with baked potatoes

Probably go with baked.

Don't eat a lot of fries, but sometimes they really hit the spot, so that would be hard to give up.

You may want to add tots to the list. They are a staple for many Midwest folks.

You forgot sweet potato. I’d probably go with that if an option.

Bit of a 'cheat', but if you take a cold baked potato and slice it into wedges and air fry with a little oil and seasoning rubbed on it makes a great potato wedge with a fluffy center and crisp exterior.

Baked potatoes for me. Can do a lot with a baked potato.

If sweet potatoes are considered a different category than what is listed, I'm going French fries. There is enough difference between match stick and home fries to give some variety not to get too boring.

If sweet potatoes are included, baked is my answer.

Fries for their versatility: shoestring fries, regular cut fries, waffle fries, crinkle fries, spiral fries, steak fries, home fries, sweet potato fries, etc
