Which is fine. Give them a vote on anything they won't. There are not enough RINOs in the Senate for them to get any of it past the 60 vote threshold.

This. The OP title is misleading. Also, there appeared to be some momentum around the "give them a vote" compromise, but that seems to be fading today as more Democrats come out against it.

Yep, Republicans have idiots that cannot see that bending on their own will to pass conservative bills is better than appeasing Democrats and help them defeat Republican policies.
If you are not moving toward a positive gain, you are losing ground. It is as simple as that.

This sounds more like voting on these items alone rather than including them in the appropriations bill
Basically give them a vote he knows will fail. It’s just an effort to make the republicans look like they’re trying to work with them. All about optics
