Where were these law enforcement officials when I was doing drugs?

Acting U.S. Attorney Clay Joyner said the officers allegedly took bribes to allow or facilitate the transport of drugs in the Delta, and that federal officials began the investigation after receiving complaints from drug dealers.

Sad, but not the first time.
In 2012, the Winn Parish sheriff was sent to the federal pen for 13+ years for drug trafficking (meth). LINK
In 2021 a DEA agent in Covington got about 13 years after he "perjured himself and directed others to commit perjury to obtain a conviction against an alleged drug dealer. He also falsified forms so that he could take possession of a truck bought for him by a drug dealer. When he and two other law enforcement officers began to worry that they would be investigated, Scott and the others conspired to throw evidence of their wrongdoing into the swamps outside New Orleans. Scott also stole money and possessions from defendants his DEA group had arrested. Scott was found guilty in August 2019 and June 2021 after his case was severed into two separate federal trials" LINK Several local deputies and cops were also busted as part of the case.
A former Shreveport police officer appeared in federal court on April 16, 2020 and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute anabolic steroids. LINK I believe it was reported that many of his steroid customers were other LEOs.
A former Shreveport Police officer got 15 years providing cocaine and lortab to a stripper who was a police informant. Prosecutors say he traded the drugs for sex. LINK
Pineville DARE officer was arrested for conspiracy to distribute a CDS. LINK
A NJ DARE officer was arrested for selling drugs. NJ cops seized 414 Ecstasy pills and 50 bottles of ketamine from his home. LINK
Several cops and deputies have been busted for bringing dope into the jails, and I recall one local deputy who stole dope from the evidence room and gave it to a female friend to sell.
These are just some of the ones that I remember from the news. It's scary and sad.

Chad Scott is the greatest water ski boat driver in the history of the sport. I competed against his son while in college, both are incredibly intense people. He pulled the current world record slalom pass at a private lake in Covington. He didn't go down for selling drugs, he used unethical means to take down drug rings and tried to cover his tracks. Was the biggest controversy in the sport since Jim Michaels rigged a contraption to cheat at his private lake. The drug dealers all referred to him as the white devil from the shite he would pull to get convictions. I know, CSB. They threw a house party that I tagged along to, and I got a heads up that the homeowner was DEA so act right and nothing besides alcohol. 10 years was heavy handed but they made an example out of him. He wrote a book this year while in prison about it called In the Gray Area. From my understanding, 2 agents working under him went full on "Training Day" and got caught, they lied and shifted blame to their superior who was already known for playing fast and loose and they took him down.

And there are still some people who do not think the CIA heads up the drug operations in and from Mexico

An NOPD officer was placed on leave for smoking meth on the job. Officials found out because he filmed himself with his own body camera. Then they re-instated him. Surprisingly, he failed another drug test and was then allowed to resign.

It amazes me how the government does both at the same time.
There is an actual boat, a huge ship, that is run by someone that sits off the coast of Mexico and they plan and run ops from there.
Then in other branches, they're profiting from the drug trade.
Looking for a picture of it but of of course I can't find one

Marquivious Bankhead is actually a pretty great name to say.
Do yourself a favor, act like you have an old school southern accent from the civil war era and say, “Good afternoon gentlemen, my name is Marquivious Bankhead. I’m from the great republic of South Carolina.”

CIA heads up the drug operations
Back in the day there was a large network of former CIA pilots who ran coke into south Louisiana. Most of them learned to fly in the military and worked for CIA fronts such as Air Attaché Laos.
