Old River is doing just fine and dandy, and since it floods annually there isn't much LDWF can do to frick it up for more than a year or two.

False River is a completely different story however...
For starters, let's finish off the quote you used:

"And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

This doesn't even refer to Christians. It is discussing Arab pagans in the 600's. In fact, the Quran refers to us (Christians) as Ahl al-Kitab ("People of the Book"), not mushrikun (polytheists/idolaters).

You really don't want to go verse for verse on this I promise. The Talmud buries the Quran in the graphic nature of their viewing of Christians. Half the shite in the Talmud would get me banned for posting it. Say for example the part referencing 3 year old girls?
The craziest part of this is that Muslims religious beliefs are more in line with our accepted Catholic ideals than Jewish beliefs.

Muslims teach about the virgin birth, they refer to Jesus as the Messiah and teach of the miracles he performed, and believe in his 2nd coming. To put it lightly, none of that is in the Torah....(I do mean lightly.)

I don't say this to sway anyone into thinking that Muslims are necessarily friends of Christians, its more to say that neither Jews nor Muslims are friends of Christians. There is no such thing as a Judeo-Christian camaraderie, its an archaic term that referred to Jews who adopted Christian beliefs while maintaining a Jewish identity.

They both see Christians as lesser than, and neither believe that Christ is the Son of God. Jewish faith out and out says that Jesus was a false prophet and is boiling in excrement until the end of times. If you read that as an 18-25 year old, I'd have to think it would at least somewhat change how you view these two sects.

I don't really give a shite about Palestine, but to see Israel doing to palestinians what they have endlessly complained about the Germans doing to them in the 1940s is unexplainable. America first means America first. Pull out of the middle east and let them sleep in the bed they have made over the past 70 years by attacking every neighboring country. This is the sentiment of my younger cohorts, and I do not believe wanting what is best for our country to be in any way anti-semetic.
1/16/26 $30 C's are cooked. Bought them when nbis was $140
I got a 12 piece stainless Cuisinart set last year that is a replica of the All Clad for 1/2 the price. Would've went AllClad if I was O-T balling but they've been great to cook with. I added a 12" MadeIn skillet (awesome) and have old faithful cast iron dutch oven for everything else.
I couldn't get past all the negative reviews or justify spending so much money on something that may not work when I'm using it to cook a whole hog or turkey etc. I went cheap and honestly I have 0 regrets. This thing has worked flawlessly for me for 2 years and probably 6 hogs and 2 turkey cooks on an open flame rotisserie: PROBES

It's always been within 1-2 degrees when I compare it with my handheld probe thermometers, and has excellent battery life. I've had 8 hour cooks and used half the battery.

It doesn't have the furthest range, I try to leave it within 10 feet of whatever I'm cooking, but it has an app so you can watch remotely if you need to multi task. I was planning on buying this and hating it to convince myself to spend a bunch of money on a meater setup and that couldn't be further from what happened. Plus the fact that I could've bought 6 of these before I would've spent enough to pay for one RFX kit...

-Spatchcock butterball turkey on the rotisserie
-Braised celery hearts a la Marco Pierre as an app
-Classic green bean casserole
If it was mine, the inside would never be "finished." I'd start moving in once I had a roof and 4 walls. Looks awesome. Can you pick the trusses up with a telehandler? They look heavy but I'm sure you've got that figured out. And stack vented plumbing?? I don't know any weekend warriors pulling that off. If those trusses are homemade, you may be the true jack of all trades for this board. I don't see a cutting torch or bandsaw but I see some sawhorses working OT

Thank you Mr. Government
Is anybody else contemplating the reverse hedge and full porting NBIG? Its at 4x normal volume so I'm clearly not the only one thinking about it. If NVDA misses, I delete Schwab. If NVDA beats...I still might have to delete the app. But if NVDA beats earnings and brings us up for the ride...it feels too greedy to work but I guess still not nearly as greedy as the NBIS options I was writing a month ago. Can make 2x on the way back up...or lose 2x as much if we slide tonight.

Pinkerton's is 345 miles from Gonzo's, so I'll bump my estimate up from 250 miles to that.

You kiddin me? Gonzo's Smokehouse has the best BBQ within 250 miles of Gonzales. Dude sells out before the store even opens most days. Consistently gets rated as the best BBQ in Louisiana (which is admittedly not a BBQ state) but even the elitists from Texas will tell you that Jason is on to something big.

Mom and Mawmaw always cooked it in the microwave for 10 minutes and nuked the slime away. Its not 100%, but it does get rid of 90%. And is waaayyy more convenient than sitting in an oven for 2 hours. I'd rather just not use okra if I had to spend half the afternoon waiting on okra to get deslime-ified. Seen them both pour it out of the bag frozen into a corningware/pyrex dish with lid and straight to m-wave for 10 minutes. Worth a shot. If you hate it, you're only out of a $4 bag of frozen okra. If its still slimey after 10 minutes, do it for 5 more.

Change it to another country instead of state? Not sure. I'm not a degenerate gambler, though I do thoroughly enjoy sticking it to the man.
