The turbulence looks like fun, but even in crystal clear calm weather I'd be...

That video looks like my crew running offshore every single time I put the boat in the water

That's a lot of faith in the welds, riveting and nuts and bolts holding that plane together in those conditions.

More than I have for sure.

I have ultimate faith in the C-130. But there's not enough alcohol in the world to make me intentionally ride that out.

My main concern would be that IF that plane did go down, there's really very little to no hope of rescue.

You're certainly not going to fare well if you can even parachute out of it and if it does somehow hit the drink, good chance it will break up on contact or be beaten to oblivion by the huge waves shortly afterwards.

I doubt the Coast Guard or Navy could mount a rescue mission in those conditions.

I don't see the problem - if she can handle the plane, more power to her.

I was thinking the electronics. You can't even see where your going. Totally relying on a gage to tell you that you're high enough. If something did fail and the plane was actually slow diving, the pilot wouldnt see the water until impact basically

when I was a kid growing up in mobile, the neighbor across the street was a Hurricane Hunter pilot - the stories he used to tell were fricking wild.

If you had to parachute out, i wonder where you would end up, and how long it would be before you touched ground or water?

It would be one helluva ride, and likely your last one.

Luckily there’s no commercial traffic around a hurricane so we don’t have to worry about another military princess taking out a civilian airliner.

I assume DEI pilot, maybe not, but it's a reasonable assumption.

I would have to be getting paid crazy money to do that.

I already have flight anxiety and have to drink so i don’t white knuckle the seats. That kind of turbulence would probably break me
