I for one would welcome bringing back public stoning and/or hanging.

Auburn Professor
Subway woman
Charlie Kirk (as a father the video of his kid and wife makes me sick)

I'm sick of this shite. People need to be afraid of doing something wrong.

Rotting in prison on taxpayer dime is not enough. These people need to be removed from society

Anyone registered as a Democrat or tranny should be exported to Africa. America would flourish!

Nothing, just get a CCW, get some training, and learn the applicable laws.

If they are mentally ill, then no potential punishment would stop them from committing any crime.

Multiple times or after you know they’re mentally ill? Because I’d start with actually having a plan for these people when they show you who they are.

We need more prisons.

Lock em up, let them rot; they cannot exsit in society.

Crime goes down when you lock criminals up.

I’m having trouble following your logic.

If they are mentally ill, how are you scaring and reasoning with them? Like taking guns away from law abiding citizens while criminals have them.

Dumb post.

It's not a one step fix, but mainstream and social media hold a lot of responsibility. The huge number of people celebrating and fetishizing the Mangione guy who killed an innocent man with a family because of the company he worked for is flat out alarming.

There's hundred of thousands if not millions of people who think violence is ok as long as it's against someone you don't like. What the hell is wrong with this country?

People using this as political ammo don’t see the irony in what they say. Yes it was bad and yes there’s bad political dialogue but to say things along these lines add fuel to the fire. Acting like this is celebratory is crazy. People are too caught up in each sides echo chamber. People who actually celebrate an assassination are insane and people who use it as a way to call entire groups of people as something lesser than human to stir up emotion are also crazy

I have lots of experience working with the criminally insane. The only one who may have a legit insanity case POTENTIALLY is the guy on the train in Charlotte. It’s hard to judge from a video but his mannerisms in the video just before stabbing her are similar to many I have seen in psychotic patients in institutions who are actively hallucinating. Also knowing his history I could see this being the case. This still doesn’t mean he shouldn’t face the worst consequences possible or that he isn’t a terrible person. The other people you mentioned are just plain evil and knew exactly wtf they were doing.

This. Public, painful, timely executions need to happen far more frequently to remind people of consequences. At present, there are no consequences.

By having the people closest to them be honest and have them put away it's like having a cheap firework once you light it it can go off or it could be a dude, but you dont hold it in your hand regardless.

The Kirk murderer is not “mentally ill.” This is cold, calculated murder.
