No complaints here. Smooth as can be. Do NOT try to use .22 shot shells in it. Great rifle and a great way to get young people involved and comfortable with shooting a rifle.

It rides wedged in between the seat and the console when I’m riding through the fields. Smokin coons, opossums, armydildos, birds of a feather, what have you.

Mine is 12 years old and the sights are dead accurate, still, out of the box. I don’t have any other lever guns, but if I did, I wouldn’t be the least bit upset if it operated half as good as my golden boy.

I have a Henry lever action .22LR. It is an incredibly smooth operating lever action rifle. Accurate out the box. I highly recommend anything that Henry makes.

I also have the .22LR Henry Survival Rifle that breaks down into the stock and fits perfectly in a backpack. It uses a 5 shot magazine instead of the lever action.

Henry makes incredible firearms, and they are made in the USA.

i have had a henry .22LR and my dad recently gave me a henry golden boy .22mag. worth the money all day.

Once my dad gave me his golden boy 2 of my brother in laws went and bought them one.

I have a 50s model Winchester 94 and a rossi stainless .44mag and the action on the henry's are far superior to both of the other lever actions.

We bought my dad one. Went all tactile with it with a scope light and lazer so he could wage war against the armydillas.
Very satisfying using subs and the BDc reticle to lob bullets at steel plate at 100-125ydz

I have the .17, .22, and .38/357 golden boys. Every single one of those guns is fun to shoot. They are safe queens mostly, but I will pull them out here and there and run some rounds through. Can’t go wrong with them.

I picked up two used Henry 22s last year, a lever action and a pump. Both of them have smooth actions and are accurate as all hell. Really pretty guns, too. IDK why but lever guns are way more fun to shoot than a semi auto, pump, or bolt gun.

50 yard groups from them

I have the Frontier model. 24" octagonal threaded long barrel with shorter tube magazine designed specifically to run suppressed. It's crazy long with the suppressor but crazy quiet. Even unsuppressed it's suppressor quiet with cci 22 quiets.

.22 Golden Boy. I love shooting that thing. I want to get a big bore Henry, probably 357 mag.
