Seems like he was always one of the good guys. He even kept his wife and daughter'd names secret to protect them from the Hollywood madness.

I always loved The Cosby Show growing up. He seemed like a good dude. RIP Malcolm.

Life imitates art (sort of).
The Theo character was obviously based on Ennis Cosby, the middle (of 5) child of Bill and Camille Cosby. Ennis died young (27) in a strange carjacking/attempted robbery incident.
RIP to Malcolm Jamal Warner, an incredibly likeable guy and the perfect Theo Huxtable.

Maybe Al Campanis knew something nobody else did 40 years ago. Right about the 2:00 minute mark.

No more puddin pops for Theo. RIP

MJW was excellent as Theo. My favorite character on the show. I feel he probably could have been a bigger actor, but probably struggled because of being identified so much as Theo Huxtable. He’s been really good in most things I’ve seen him in over the last several years. Hate to hear this.

People forget he had a decent run in the 90’s with Malcolm and Eddie.
On the drowning, he was in Costa Rica and from what I read it sounds like he got caught in a rip.

Had a small recurring role on Community, as well.

Aren't all drownings accidental?

Was really good in Suits for his limited run. Good actor and seemingly all around good person
