Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel (I prefer this to Rare Breed) ~$60

I know you said bourbon, but I’ve been into ryes lately and you can get Bulleit Rye 12 year for ~$50 and Sagamore Double Oak Rye for ~$65.

Those are probably my 3 favorite shelf whiskeys right now.

For pure value I really like Old Forester 100. I know most will say Evan Williams BiB or Wild Turkey 101, but I just prefer the flavor profile of Old Forester.

If I’m feeling fancy Old Forester 1920.

Speaking of OGD 114....Did I see that it was discontinued?
I saw some a few weeks ago, never had it before so I passed on it. Then I think I saw that it was discontinued.
If so I'll go buy a bottle.

That's been a rumor for a while, but it's never came to fruition.

They are coming out with an OGD 7 year BiB this year.

Basil Hayden is a winner. Smooth but with notes of charred oak and vanilla. I believe a bottle is ~$40 at the grocery store.
