Huge Trump guy. Worked detail last time he went to NOLA. I texted him and asked if he thinks it was inside job or incompetence from SS and he sent me this…

Neither. It was textbook on all ends.

The thing people need to realize is how it actually works. So presidential details are a completely different beast with different rules. First off, there are 3 elements of protection. Level 1 is the interior team. Their job is just to be a human shield.. the people you lay on him and they don’t move until they get told all clear, then they get the frick as soon as possible. Level 2 is the soft perimeter- just outside the main area. This level is the state agencies assisting (swat for most cases). And then you have the SS sniper team(s) as level 3. Each team or level has to trust the others will do their job and they only focus on their AOR (area of responsibility). So level 1 AOR is the venue limit, level 2 AOR is the perimeter to about 200 yards, and level 3 AOR is from about 200 yards+.

Plus the state agencies and SS do not operate on the same radio channels. Only one dude on the state side will have a radio given to them by the SS and it is that person’s job to relay info from each radio - so it’s not an instant exchange of information between the two elements.

Now with that info, they said on lookers saw a guy climbing on the roof and told the police (state agency - level 2). *now this part hasn’t been confirmed yet - but allegedly an officer climbed the ladder and the shooter pointed his rifle at him which the officer came down the ladder* Now, if that’s true it would make sense - this notion that police should just put themselves in a position to die because he has a gun is dumb. The police’s job is to stop the killing, can’t do that if you’re dead (granted sometimes you don’t have a choice and just have to eat the “shite sandwich” but this wouldn’t be one of those times because you have sniper support). So I imagine this officer came down the ladder and transmitted what he saw on the radio, which then had to be relayed to the SS - all of which would explain why the video of the sniper team shows them adjusting they rifle to a lower angle (moving from their AOR to a closer target). Once he does that the sniper then comes off scope to see the “bigger picture” of what he is looking at - most likely trying to figure out is it just some crazy fan trying to look into the venue or is he a threat. While he’s assessing the situation, the shorter cracks off 1 round and the sniper instantly sends a “snap shot” - sniper lingo for firing while acquiring the target without time to make the adjustments.

Unfortunately, action is faster than reaction and 99% of time if someone has hate in their heart they are going to get a chance before someone can stop them. Listening to the audio of the gun fire, it sounded like the first shot was an AR, followed by a .308, then immediately chased by an AR. Then there’s a pause followed by a barrage of multiple rounds.

So if I had to guess the officer got off the ladder, radioed it and once it was relayed to the other channel - SS snipers engaged the target, the level 2 element had approached the building during the relay of info and sniper engagement, level two then tactical advanced on the roof and turned him into a human sprinkler.


Again, this is all off of what I heard and saw online and logically came up on conclusion based on my experiences.
On top of all of it luckily this dude thinks it’s call of duty and head shots are easy… that’s why police aim center mass, larger target. Add the pressure to hurry before being spotted and nerves and apparently this dipshit was such a bad shot he couldn’t make the high school rifle team…
