Popeye's worker " Don't ever order from here again"

My 17-year-old son got off of work at 10pm and wanted Popeye's. He placed an order on the app at 10:06pm after confirming that they close at 11.
He ordered a 4 piece with fries and a drink.
11 minutes later he arrives at the drive thru speaker, and no one acknowledges that he is there for 7 minutes before he pulls around to the window.
Finally, a woman opens the window and rudely asks him what he's doing.
He tells her about the online order, and she closes the window, comes right back and screams at him "Don't you ever order from here again, were closed!" Another worker comes to the window and hands him a 4 piece and nothing else.
What would you have done in this situation?

Asked for a refund or go through the app and ask for a refund detailing what happened

Eaten the chicken. Then gone on the app and reported it and gotten another free meal.

I explained to him that they hate us and to never go back unless he's prepared to be treated like shite.

He ordered at 10:06, but what time did he show up, 10:59?

1. Definitely not eat the chicken that I was given
2. Definitely never go to that Popeyes again
That's probably it

Popeye's mobile orders in Louisiana must come through in hieroglyphics because every time someone in my family places an order in the app it's a shite show. They either can't find the order. Or they forget shite. Or we get told to pull up while car after car leaves the drive through. It's at the point now where I will only eat Popeyes when I'm out of town. FYI: There's one right off the interstate in Crestview, Fl. that is Chick-Fil-A-like. They're polite, efficient and always have fresh food. I'm in that area twice a month for work and routinely pick up lunch for our staff.

I would have been afraid to eat the chicken at all.

Popeyes couldn’t hire worse employees if they actively tried to do so.

I gave up on Popeyes many years ago. Awful service and an iffy product will do that for you.

My expectations would have been pretty low from the beginning.

I've given up on Popeyes. It's a great product, but a horribly managed business. Getting your order as you ordered it, with the chicken being well seasoned, hot and properly cooked, is about a 2 in 10 chance. There are too many other options that are good and also reliable.

I can’t believe its 2024 and some of y’all are still going to garbage-arse Popeyes

sound like his Popeyes privileges have been revoked. It happens

Expecting Popeyes to get a mobile order correct was ol son’s first mistake.

1. Order Popeyes on Uber Eats.
2. Wait until a driver is selected restaurant has accepted order.
3. Cancel order before driver gets there
4. Go to Popeyes and pick up your order off the rack.
They don't pick them back up.
Free Popeyes glitch. I shouldn't post that here. Lol
