Seems to be a lot of agreement on Bogalusa. Since I am going to send this to some friends, what makes Bogalusa the worst? I've been telling people what I know the problem to be, but they ain't listening. Maybe they will listen to some baws from the OT.

Don't live there and not saying it's bad but taking into account various posts on this site, Baton Rouge would be up there due to violence.

Sorry. But it is a shitehole. And its community is too. I volunteer time in rescue and Caddo Parish absolutely sucks. They can’t fix or care for their pets who are dying in droves bc of the evil director at CPAS. And never-mind how bad S’port has gone downhill over the years. It was once a decent place. Years ago.

It's hard to imagine anything that affects my day to day life less. Maybe you can also help me and comment on how much the Shreveport high tea scene is lacking.

Baton Rouge is kind of a shite hole tbh

I passed through a town called Merryville a few weeks ago that looked anything but Merry.
Every single house we passed looked like a potential meth lab. It was the most rundown place i've ever seen in this state. Middle of the day and didn't pass another car or see any people outside of their houses. Super weird.

What? where people work? The entire area from Amelia to Patterson is an industrial area.

New Llano is basically one neighborhood and the wal mart adjacent to Leesville. There was a proposal to consolidate New Llano into Leesville a few years ago that actually made sense but of course it got nowhere with the idiots that live there.

Population 2,625 Transylvania, La. Other than the water tower?

100% truth being it would be easier to just name the select few towns in LA that aren’t shiteholes. It’s a small list.

Statistically it's Opelousas, Ville Platte, Bastrop, Lake Providence, Tallulah, Bogalusa, Alexandria, and Marksville.
I know New Orleans, BR, and Shreveport have worse areas but the larger populations and economic importance keep their rates lower on a per capita basis.

Jonesville is an underrated not talked about enough shithole in the middle of Louisiana.
