I just know not to trot a reliever out to face a top 5 hitter in the NCAA for the 3rd time in one night, but that’s just me

Jay caught lighting in a bottle with the 2 best players in college last year.

Good luck with our 24th different lineup tomorrow and Hurd on bump. Jay has his work cut out and calling the game like tonight isn’t a recipe for success.

Tonight was one of the worst losses in a long time. It’s okay to admit a lot of decisions were bad.

Do you think that Jay managed a good game tonight?

Very totalitarian way of thinking.

No one should ever question the millionaire coach's decisions EVER. All posts on this board must be positive.

Funny thing is, Jay will admit to some of the gripes you are reading in postgame

The fun thing about baseball is there is no 100% outcomes. You can make the right call on paper & it will still have a large variance of results.

Ack was falling off the mound for 3 innings. It was a miracle they didn’t win in the 10th. To trot him back out there and then let him pitch to Cags is next level bad management. JJ isn’t perfect. He’s human. Tonight he made some really bad decisions.

Jay knows far more than me. I thought he did a poor job with tonight’s game. It happens

Honestly bro, just relax. Nobody thinks he’s a bad coach. Some of the unorthodox decisions he made today didn’t work out. Sometimes they do. He doesn’t need defending.

You think Kling should be in the lineup. Coach Johnson thinks differently. Are you an idiot that thinks they know better?

It doesn't matter because so many LSU Baseball fans don't actually understand baseball and are going to overreact to every single decision. A coach making a very good or very bad decision, to an uneducated crowd, will be based on the results.

Obviously Jay Johnson is a great coach and that is obvious but not every team that he has will be able to do what we want to see. I still think he is so good of a manager that this team will get better throughout the season

Ok save this
Kling is not who we were told he was.
I wish him well but he needs to grow into the 5 tool star Jay believes he can be

Anyone that thinks they know this LSU baseball team better than J.Johnson AND today's college baseball is,are idiot(s).
Did Johnson make mistake(s)in today's ugly run rule loss ,probably.I'm betting JJ was the first to admit this, these, mistakes to HIS TEAM! IMO JJ is the best head coach since Bertman and it ain't even close. As much as this 12-2 beat down can't be denied how quickly it is forgotten LSU was 1 one, unlucky bounce, out from winning the series OR,in our 6-1 win LSU dominated the Gators.
Do we have problems going forward absolutely but I have confidence Jay Johnson has the coaching staff and ability to get them fixed.

You still think Johnson is a more elite coach than Mulkey at this point?

I’m with you. I trust JJ’s PROCESS and will take it 1 game at a time. This team will develop and will be a force to be reckoned with later in the season. I’m not worried. This club will have a path to Omaha. But no, I’m not looking for a national title. I’m fine with being in the hunt.

JJ doesn't currently know how/if this team can be fixed.

He's going to follow his process and keep working to improve the team. But, I don't think he sees a light at the end of the tunnel. There's a too many different things that need to improve.
