Mainstream media propaganda is because of corporate purchasing of media that's been going on since the late '60s to now. The richest people in this country own the media and all of the government at this point. I don't even see how anyone could argue against that

The doj has already been gutted and filled with Trump loyalists. Don't see how anyone can argue with it and if you're advocating that all government that opposes Trump needs to be gutted when the Democrats have zero power then it means that you want an authoritarian government. I don't mean any ill but that's what it sounds like

Morals are very important but material conditions of the working class are extremely important especially when the top 1% owns almost 40% of all wealth. You can call it left-wing or socialist or whatever you want but the biggest problem is that people aren't having their needs met and you can't keep placating them with religion or telling them to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
There are two systems of Justice in the United States and the wealthiest live in a socialist environment where they can get bailed out and subsidies in a time they want while receiving tax breaks for it and everyone else has to live under rugged capitalism.
Important to note that I don't hate capitalism or anything like that. I'm just explaining how the extremely rich literally take advantage of all of us while polluting the political message. It's not even new but liberals and Republicans will argue over the merits while both being taken advantage of

Sorry but anyone still thinking about how he supported his teammates and framing it as a pejorative is just simply a soft man. It gets boring hearing all of the Drew Brees haters constantly whining about him taking a knee. I didn't even know anyone still cared about that. The guy was an absolute Legend as a football player regardless of any of your political sensitivities

Ok cool. So you don't think it's turning into "feminine oussy world." I'm glad for you. That would be weird. Glad you don't believe that and were only just kidding.

Ah yes, the usual attempt to deflect instead of addressing the hypocrisy. So let’s break this down:
No I'm actually saying the exact same thing to you. You guys are making a big deal about all these people trespassing but what's happening is illegal and people are going to get upset and they're going to do a lot of things like this so you better buckle up cuz you're going to see a lot more crap like this.
quote:
Elon Musk 'illegally shutting down agencies'? What actual laws were broken? Or do you just mean he's resisting politically motivated investigations? Because if we’re suddenly pretending government agencies are always impartial and righteous, that’s some next-level naivety.
Well you're doing some interesting mental gymnastics there. I never said that government agencies are always righteous. Are you just one of those people who thinks everything is either really good or really bad? If you want to have an adult conversation we can have one but if you're going to frame everything however you want to make it easier for you to argue against a straw man then I can't really help you.
Congress appropriates the money for agencies and for expenditures. The executive branch is not allowed to reappropriate funds appropriated by Congress. It's really not hard to understand. There are three branches of government and they are not supposed to impede on each other. It's literally in the Constitution and all of you people who claim to be Pro Constitution seem to forget how it works whenever it's convenient. The executive branch shutting down agencies and stopping funds from reaching their source that were appropriated by Congress is illegal and unconstitutional. It's really simple
quote:
Protesters being deported? Are you saying non-citizens who break laws shouldn't be subject to deportation? Because that’s literally how every country operates. Also, if these people didn’t commit a crime, what exactly were they arrested for? You can’t have it both ways.
I'm noticing a pattern where you like to create a straw man in order to make your argument work. He didn't do anything illegal. Trump is doing things that are way out of pocket and unconstitutional. He's a want to be dictator and all of the people like me have been trying to tell all of the people like you this for a long time and now you're seeing it happen. Look at the markets crash as he plays power games with Canada. The guy is absolutely out of control. But back to the subject at hand, the guy that they shipped all the way down to Louisiana wasn't doing anything illegal. Organizing protests is a First Amendment right and he was a permanent resident with a green card. If they can arrest someone for protesting and organizing protests simply because they are a permanent resident then they can justify The Next Step which is taking any citizen of the United States and deporting them or gagging them for protesting. You really need to stop thinking about being so partisan and realize that this guy doesn't care about the Constitution and if you support the things that he's doing then neither do you
quote:
Trespassing in a private building isn’t a crime now? Interesting, because last time I checked, breaking into a federal building on January 6th was treated like the crime of the century, and those people didn’t get the luxury of being bussed out and released elsewhere.
Where did you see me say it wasn't a crime? It is a crime. I'm just saying it's being done as civil disobedience because of what's happening. Doesn't mean it's not a crime. And also trying to equate that to January 6th is pretty silly. Those people were trying to stop the ratification of an election. They were trying to change the course of the United States because they were naive dumb people who got manipulated
quote:
So which is it? Are laws supposed to apply equally, or only when it benefits your side?
I think this is a question you should ask yourself. If you want to keep projecting at me that's fine but just realize that I'm calling you on it because what you're doing right now is exactly what you're mad at me for

Dude... you said ELON MUSK is doing it. He's not. Talk about mental gymnastics.
Look I'm not trying to be rude but you clearly don't even understand or you are trying to skirt the issue entirely. It's unconstitutional and frankly it's beyond bad from an Ethics standpoint

Oh I guess all of those United States judges are wrong. Money that is appropriated by Congress is being messed with by the executive branch. That is unconstitutional no matter how you try to do mental gymnastics.

Wrong again.
I'm afraid you're about to go 0-2. It is certainly alarming and definitely illegal. If he was being arrested for a crime then why was he shipped all the way to Louisiana

I just looked it up and saw that you were right but not in the way that you're saying. Looks like it's being done to everyone. Nine different Democrats in Congress received bomb threats and got swatted on Thanksgiving last year. It's like one of the first Google things that pops up

Speaking of which. I thought right Wingers were all about the constitution. Funny how it doesn't seem like any of you are when Elon Musk is illegally shutting down agencies that are investigating his companies and people who are protesting are somehow able to be deported and taking somewhere without their permission without committing a crime. I guess you only get outraged whenever people trespass in someone's building that like, huh? Wow

The most interesting thing to me is that none of you seem to really care about the fact that the president of the United States thought it would be totally fine to blow right past the Constitution and Deport someone with permanent residence simply because he led some protests. Glad to know so many of you support all out fascism

No more excuses, he's got a blend of youth, experience; QB he wants, DC he wants.
This implies that he doesn't want to do super well and that he wants to be able to make excuses in trying to achieve that goal. You might want to rephrase that

That's way too much thought. People are just expressing their happiness.
