If you can’t work 40 hrs in a week, I feel sorry for you.

Hourly workers would still work just as long. You would just have companies on the hook for more overtime premium.

Workers are not trying to work less from a pay perspective.

How about keeping the 40 hour work week but only pay taxes based on the first 32 hours? Watch morale soar.

If you want to work 32 hours a week, fine, but don’t be upset when some other person hustles and works more than that and gets ahead of you.

32-hour work week as a national labor mandate.... why not? I think most burnt-out daily drudge workers would say it's a good thing.

Trying to get work done with them over there is slow to impossible because of their shitty arse work ethic and short hours. i have to deal with them constantly with many of our OEM products under warranty from Germany, Spain, Netherlands, etc...

A hopeful thought is offered here in peace:

Perhaps, if more people actually used Saturdays as days of rest, and Sundays as days of worship this wouldn't be a discussion.

Hilarious. It’s never to apply oneself and succeed.. it’s always “your just making other people money.”

Hey… you can work DoorDash, Uber, and Lyft as few hours as you want. Why are you complaining?

The rest of us are actually building businesses and taking risks you peons who wanna take a weekly “mental health day” get in the way of.

How about striving to be something more than a slob with 40 piercings and colored hair that screams about pronouns and opposite gender bathroom usage wanting a day off every week?

“Huh!! Huh!! Huuuh!! Europe only wurks 32 hours!1!1!2!2”. Yea. And who is the dominant world power? Are the European countries sending carrier groups from seven fleets around the world? Who had to combine into one European entity of many countries to compete with the US Dollar? Who is buying whos tech? Who is buying whos military equipment? Who had had to dig who out of world war?

But keep listening to Berne Sanders.. who is a “socialist” that’s never worked a real job yet has millions in wealth and multiple homes. He is REALLY for you, little man.

My company operates on a 35 hour work week. 9-5 with 1 hr. for lunch.

Of course, I work as many hours as it takes.

That’s a fabulous idea. Let’s get Bernie’s take on that.

America, the country with the largest Middle class?

Seems like their making themselves quite a bit of money.

That's 32 more hours than you've ever worked in a week. Think you could handle it?

And if you make the work week 32 hours, no one will work 32.
