Chambliss is listening to OM people who are selfish and not looking out for his best interest. But rather looking out for their own interests. If the dude has a brain at ALL, he has to know that his NFL stock will never be higher. He can't and won't do any better next year than this year. And likely will do much worse. Their schedule gets much tougher next season than the cupcake schedule they've had the last 2 seasons. The new OC isn't CWJ and Golding certainly isn't Kiffin. And Joe Judge has no idea how to manage a game. Didn't in NY and doesn't in Oxford.

This time last year, Austin Simmons was the next incarnation of God to OM fans, too. They were slobbering over him like he was going to be their savior. Because of one drive against UGA.

Arnett won his first game (Outback bowl), too. After Leach died. That was with Leach's system, players, and coaches. Pump the brakes on OM improving without Lane until you see how Golding does when the ship is totally his to sail

OM doesn't have the cakewalk schedule next year they've had the last three years. I say they'll be in the 7-5 camp. Could even slide to 6-6. It'll be Golding's full show next year. He just cruise controlled Lane's team and system at the end of this year. Next year, new OC won't be calling sets and plays like Lane and CWJ did. And Pete will have to get another DC. Arnett was a hell of a DC for us but our D sucked when he was HC, because he wasn't HC material. And oh yeah, he won his first game too. The Outback bowl. With Leach's recruits, system, and coaches. When he put his own system in, it just wasn't the same. OM will see a lot of that next year. They think it'll be exactly the same as when Lane ran the show though.

I think they should be allowed to get in the portal any time they want. Like hop in it after a game that they get pissed off because they were benched. Move to another school. Be playing for new school next week. I want it to be so dysfunctional that it blows completely up and then collective bargaining can be implemented and some sort of order put in place.
