i think it's a troll, to, FWIW. Too much doesn't add up. He knows OM people are so cucked they'll build him a statue if he re-signs and stays with them. One thing, though. That's different from reporting that contact has been made. Which is usually reported by a Dellenger, Low, Forde

If he was really leaving, you'd already have leaks of people OM had reached out to for replacement of Kiffin. There's not been a peep about them reaching out, other than some wishcasting by their fans for Sumrall. And the word is he agreed to a contract with AU last night. And if he was really leaving and OM HASN'T started reaching out to replacements yet, they're dumb. Because you'd want a new coach in place immediately to try and save your roster from being raided and save your HS recruits from de-committing. This just doesn't smell right.

This is true. And OM has the most to lose in that. Their roster will surely bail out in the portal and they'll have hs recruits de-commit. And they won't have time to re-group. Right at signing day. who's to say OM and Kiffin aren't still trolling and are just stringing it out another week to gain a recruiting edge on one of their permanent rivals and another conference rival right here close to signing day and portal opening, and then announce he's staying right before the Egg Bowl begins.

LSU and UF should move on, hire a new coach, and leave Kiffin hanging in the wind, and OM should drop their offer to $9.1 MM. That would take some wind out of that fat slob Jimmy Sexton's sails, and damage his reputation. It would also help reset coach salaries downward.
