Just one thing, you keep saying "raper", someone who commits rape is a rapist. It reads like rapper when you keep saying raper. Also what if a guy is really drunk and has sex with a woman, was he raped? I mean super intoxicated so obviously couldn't consent right?

After every lsu football game approximately 30,000 men and women have sex while drunk

Trying to make it that simple, regardless of the letter of the law, is being intentionally obtuse. It’s not realistic

Do you understand where he was driving or are you just being a contrarian dumbass? That stretch of Burbank is one of the most treacherous in all of BR at night because it’s pitch black and winding. And it’s certainly not a place where you would expect to have to be wary of pedestrians.

i know exactly where it is. i've actually driven to the spot to see. I've measured distances from the turn. plenty of time on a straight way to notice a pedestrian standing in the middle of a road.

So let me get this straight.

You think a college student who drives can’t describe how to get home but is aware enough to consent for sex?

That’s the mental capacity of a 6 year old.

Right lol, I guess they are all just raping each other. I don't know about all that happened in this case, but the whole notion that any sex with someone who has been drinking is rape is absolutely insane.

I'd trust a woman to consent to sex before I trusted her to give me directions.

She drove that area on a daily basis.

I think a lot of teenagers couldn’t give directions to their temporary housing from somewhere they may not be familiar with. She wasn’t living at home. She may not have known where they pulled over to have sex. It’s not as far fetched as you make it out to be. As far as consenting to sex, I only said that being drunk alone doesn’t make it rape. And her mood, willingness even while drunk, absolutely plays a part. The defense will be showing her holding onto the youngest boy in the bar and kissing him before running after them to get in the car. If there is video of her undressing herself and/or him and enjoying the act, then that also plays a part in her mental state. As it would for any woman who drinks and engages willfully in sex.

Was she living in the same apartment she did during the semester? She worked at Reggie’s the summer before but she wasn’t a current employee. Did she recognize where they stopped? You are making a lot of assumptions.

Didn't they video tape themselves fricking her in the arse?

I believe that's more rumor than fact. I don't think any video of penetration has been relied on. You can correct me if you would like. I don't have access to the full discovery.

No surprise you are up in here defending rapists.

Where?

Me explaining what their attorneys are doing is not me defending anyone.

This is that emotional thinking refereed to earlier

she's not from BR.

One of my cousins from out of state attended LSU with me. In year 2 at LSU for both of us, we decided to go to a Southeastern basketball game to go watch a guy i played high school with, and asked my cousin to come with me and two other friends. After picking him up at Kirby Smith, we proceeded to Hammond. When we got to about Denham Springs he asked where we were going. We are all a bit weirded out by his question and told him to the southeastern bball game. He then said he thought we were going to the LSU game, which made me ask him, then why would you wait 20 minutes to ask us where we were going when the PMAC is a 2 minute walk from your dorm room?
That's how shitty his sense of direction was.

He went to LSU for 4 years, and if i dropped him off anywhere in the city, it's unlikely he could have made his way back to LSU. We still make fun of him and his terrible sense of direction, and this guy is a fricking Air Force pilot now.

He went to the scene of the accident to measure the curve. He's obviously emotionally connected to this case in some way.

She was a 19 year old sophomore on Burbank in the second semester meaning she has 6 months in her place of residence.

Burbank is one of 3 primary streets that are near campus (highland and Nicholson being the others)

There is no reason to think she wouldn’t be able to get home sober and clearly running out in front of a car at night shows her decision making capacity

she was inarguably raped. She was not in a condition legally able to consent.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert at law or of this case. But every time a husband and wife go home and have sex and the wife is intoxicated, do you believe that a rape occurred?

Again, wasn’t she in a sorority? Did she live in the house? Not all of them do. Many change residences mid semester. And Teddy shared a personal anecdote of someone who didn’t notice he was out of BR until he got to Denham. I don’t think you realize how much today’s youth relies on their phones.

And none of this is relevant if she is shown to be a willing participant. Being drunk does not equal rape. That’s a misconception.
