thought he would flake out. He may be jacked up but he has given probably his best speaking performance of his life here tonight. This election is going to be a battle. Make sure all you voter stuff is correct so you can get out and vote.
this can't be real

You are free to support a dementia patient all day. Lots of green hair folks and people that like Nancy Pelosi do.
Congrats.
Congrats.

In the current groomer party, JWG would easily pull 75% of the dem vote.

It is real how did he pull that off. He has not been able to speak clearly in a while and definitely has not had that energy.
The point of this post you numb nuts is that she looked much better than anybody could have dreamed. He probably passed the test for many and especially the college educated. It is not going to be as easy as many Trump voters think it will after the huge wins on Tuesday. It will come down to who gets the most people out to vote and not sitting on their arse.

how any reasonable, college educated person could have thought that speech was OK and passed some internal test in their head...

Looks and sounds like an angry old man

That was fricking awful and you know it

I’m usually left of this board, but this speech was overall not good.
It’s hard to imagine he has 5 more of these in him.

Biden is so full of shite, he ought to have a flushing handle attached to his arse.

I don’t think this will change any minds. Pretty sure no SOTU has really done that.
Not to mention, it is March. The election is in 8 months. One, this won’t carry him until then, and, two, do people expect him to repeat this over and over?
He wasn’t able to really campaign 3 years ago.
He is significantly more feeble now than he was then.
If this was the best he had, that isn’t exactly a great thing.

He came out holding nothing back and was combative. The guy is a politician who has been in the game for 50 years. He used his instincts tonight. The only thing missing was the red lighting.

Unless inflation really drops and the border magically solves itself, he has zero chance. Trump was at 48% at this point in his Presidency. Biden is at 37%. I think Obama won with 48% approval his second time, but that is the high bar.

I’m decidedly hard right republican. I agree that this was a good speech for Biden. It was 100% bullshite. He coughed and jumbled a bit. He was 100% on methamphetamines. But, he did better than I thought he would. And the Dems rallied behind him with standing O’s every 9 seconds.
I was hoping he’d stroke out and I was disappointed.
Republicans had better get out and vote or you may be surprised. Democrats stopped giving a frick about the truth a long fricking time ago.

He was probably pumped full with enough pick me ups that would kill a normal meth head.

To those of you that don't understand the OP's point...
We. Cannot. Afford. To. Not. Vote.
Every ONE of you MUST drag someone else to vote. You can be faithless in the Vote. Irrelevant.
Don't be lazy. Period. Make it happen.
If we drop so many votes they are 5-6% behind, they CAN'T cheat us that much. Let's make it 10%!!!

I think that was objectively one of the worst SOTU addresses ever. It’s not supposed to be a campaign stump speech or a nominating convention acceptance speech. Biden alienated independent voters tonight—voters he desperately needs to win.
This race will come down to about 50,000 politically independent voters across about 5 states. This speech did nothing to help persuade those voters to support Biden.

I’m afraid this is magical thinking
The unadulterated ability of Biden to make shite up and the willingness of the illiterate masses to eat it up surprised me once. This will be a very close election
