$355 million what is the justification?

Is this a number the judge pulled out of his arse or did he provide a reasoned accounting for how he determined this to be the correct amount of "damages"?

Gotta get those funds for Ukraine somehow. The judges are in on it too!

Supposedly interest and fees he would have paid under market terms, whatever the court seems that to be.
It’s a joke.
It’s a joke.

It’s a joke.
Especially since the loans were paid off on time and the lenders want to deal with him again.
This is the state of New York deciding that it wants to interfere in business because it knows better than businessmen and banks.

But... if they banks did their due diligence, and I can assure you that they did, aren't they free to loan money under whatever reasonable terms they choose to?
Or do banks now have to run all of their loans by a prosecutor and judge who have zero financial knowledge and experience to make sure that, in their opinion, the banks are having a fast one pulled on them?

I’m still not clear who he owes the money to. Is it NY state or the lenders he supposedly defrauded? The lenders don’t feel duped by him and weren’t the ones that brought the charges. If I had a substantial amount of money and a R by my name, I’d be cashing out of NY.

That’s all this is. It’s government interference in private transactions.

100% tyranny
Anyone who doesn't see this or pretends not to see it is the problem.

This seems like it's going to backfire spectacularly.

Judge used some expert guys opinion that the interest rates charge on some of the loans would have been higher had Trump not been able to get the personal guarantee with his “fraudulent” financial statements. And the difference is quite staggering. And the rationale is complete BS. That amounted to about $165 million.
Then another $128 million or so came from the profit made on selling the Old Post office building. Again because the loan used to purchase and Renovate was made with fraud records. All BS.
Private transactions and no victims. Basic banking activity that happens every day

Poor Trump, Everyone is picking on him, why can't he just run his businesses as illegally and fraudulently as he wants to with out having to abide all those laws
